Chapter 163

After school, I told the guys all about it and they were so proud of me. Michael had no idea who Hannah was so we had to explain everything to him but it was alright. Calum came over to me and hugged me tight saying, "I'm so proud of you, sweetie. You're so strong now." He pulled away and I smiled. I said, "Thank you, Cal." Then Luke said, "You really make us happy, Nicole. You're so unique, so amazing."

Nicole: Wow. Thanks, Luke.

Ash: It's great that you can stand up for yourself and do what's right.

Nicole: Uh-huh.

Ash: Hey, do you remember when we played Just Dance, Nicole? And remember when Luke kicked us off when we played it for three straight hours?

Nicole: Oh, my god, yes!

Calum: Um, when did this happen?

Nicole: Oh, it was before you came.

Calum: Oh, I see. So you and Ash were besties then, weren't you?

Nicole: *laughs* I guess so.

Ash: How about we play some more Just Dance? Like, right now?

Nicole: Yeah! That's a great idea!

Ash: Awesome! I'll set it up.

Then Ashton went to the living room to set up the Wii so we could play Just Dance.

Luke: In fact, I remember you being really good at it, weren't you, Nicole?

Nicole: Well I don't wanna brag but I was pretty awesome.

Calum: *laughs* Well I don't know if you know, but I'm a pretty sick Just Dance player myself.

Ash: *yells from living room* HA! YOU WISH!

Calum: Shut up, Ashton!

Nicole: *laughs* I didn't know you were good at Just Dance.

Calum: Oh, yes. I'm a pro at it.

Michael: Well why don't you and Calum face each other off? But first Ash and Nicole need to battle each other so you can watch what you're up against, Calum.

Calum: Deal.

Ash: Okay! I set it up! I think.

Then we all went to the living room and Ashton gave me a remote. "What song do you wanna do?" Ashton asked. I then replied, "Anything 1D of course!" They all laughed. We chose 'One Thing' and started to dance to it. I wish I could see Calum's reaction to my dancing because it would be absolutely priceless.

CALUM'S POV

Okay, I admit. Nicole's a pretty d*mn good dancer but I think I have a chance at beating her. She was really good though. She just needs to be ready for some real action!

NICOLE'S POV

After the song was done, I had won the battle. I looked behind me to Calum and said, "Beat that." His mouth gaped open and I tried my best not to laugh. Michael had mentioned, "Ooh, we got a trash talker up in here." We all started to laugh. Calum said to me, "Better catch your breath fast, Nicole. I'M ABOUT TO WIN THIS THING!" Ashton gave him the remote and we chose another 1D song. 'Live While We're Young', everybody!! They should've named it 'YOLO' but whatever. When we started, I noticed Calum wasn't actually that bad at playing Just Dance. He was quite good in fact. I was started to get a little -- JUST A LITTLE -- worried he was going to beat me. I had to up the ante. I looked at the little stick-men in the corner of the screen and did some major addition moves to get some extra points and it worked. Calum noticed what I was doing and he said, "Oh, I see now. Well two can play at this game." Then he started doing what I was doing! By the end of the song, both of us were exhausted.
