"Hello?" Said the person on the phone. I knew for sure it wasn't Calum because I believe Calum doesn't sound like a girl. But why did a girl answer the phone? Maybe I got the wrong number. I said into the phone, "Um, sorry, wrong number." But just as I was about to hang up, the girl stopped me and said, "Wait, wait, wait! I don't think you have the wrong number. Are you Nicole?"

Nicole: Um, yes? Who is this?

???: I'm Rebecca, Calum's girlfriend.

Nicole: Girlfriend?!?

Rebecca: Yeah, Calum didn't tell you about me, did he?

Nicole: No, not at all. Since when did he get a girlfriend?

Rebecca: Well we met in a store. At Justice. I believe he actually brought you with him.

Nicole: What? I don't remember him meeting any girl.

Rebecca: Well that's because you weren't paying any attention to him. Apparently you were giving him the silent treatment.

Nicole: Oh. He actually told you?

Rebecca: Yep. I'm just kind of surprised that Calum hasn't told you about me.

Nicole: I'm just as surprised as you are. Wait, why do you have his phone?

Rebecca: Calum left it on the table when he went to the washroom.

Nicole: Table? Where is he?

Rebecca: We're at a restaurant.

Nicole: A restaurant? So like a date?

Rebecca: Yeah, okay, you could say we're on a date.

Nicole: Well now that everything is cleared up, it was, uh, nice meeting you. Wait, how do you know my name?

Rebecca: Calum talks about you all the time.

Nicole: Wow. Interesting. Well thanks. Tell Calum I called.

Rebecca: Okay, bye!

Nicole: Bye!

I ended the call and put the phone on its base. I heard Luke say from behind me, "Who was that you were just talking to?" Then Ashton walked in and wondered that too. I responded, "Hey, quick question: Did Calum ever tell you about a girl named Rebecca?" Then Ash responded, "Ohhh, you mean his girlfriend? Yeah, of course. Why?"

Nicole: Well he never told me. Apparently Calum's on a date with her right now.

Luke: Oh, good for him.

Nicole: But I don't get why Calum never told me about his girlfriend.

Ashton: Maybe he just thought you'd be mad at him.

Nicole: No, that can't be it. It's not like I was mad at Luke when I found out he was dating Selena.

Luke: True.

Nicole: Did you guys ever meet Rebecca?

Ashton: No, Calum said that we would though. He just doesn't know when.

Luke: But does this have anything to do with who you were talking to on the phone?

Nicole: Yeah, I had tried calling Calum but his ✌girlfriend✌ picked up.

Ashton: Well what do you think of her? Is she nice?

Nicole: Yeah, I guess. She's polite and stuff. I wouldn't say she's mean.

Luke: But what do you think of her?

Nicole: What do you mean? I just told you.

Luke: I mean do you think that she's a good girl for Calum?

Nicole: Well that's not my place to say but if you ask me, which you just did, I think she's perfect. She's calm, cool, and she's got some nice manners.

Ashton: Well it's great that you like her.

Nicole: Hmm, hey, I'm gonna be in my room. Tell me when Calum gets home.

Luke: Okay.

I glanced at the time and it was 6:10. I'll just text Taylor or something. I went upstairs to my room, closed the door, and started to text Taylor.
