Chapter 7

I looked at the time and it was 10:14. I felt tired. I decided to go to sleep. I thought, Wow. I've done so much in just one day and its crazy. I need some rest. Then I changed into my PJs and went to bed.

I woke up from the sound of laughter and I opened my eyes. I saw 3 smirking faces of 3 idiots. I groaned and said, "What do you want?" They started laughing harder but I just shook it off. I then said, "You know what? Get out of my way." I got off my bed and went to the washroom. I glanced by the mirror and screamed. Then I heard more laughter. The laughter annoyed me. Those jerks gave me a MAKEOVER!!! But it wasn't a good makeover! They made me look like a kitty cat!!!! Oh, how I hate them! I'm gonna get them back. I exited the bathroom and saw them laughing their heads off in my room on the floor. I didn't crack a smile. All I said was, "Get out." They had trouble standing up but they managed to leave the room. I went to the bathroom again and washed it all off. Then I did my business, took a shower, and changed my clothes. I then put on some makeup. First I put some mascara on, then I blushed my face. I also put some lip glass and perfume on. I know I'm only 12 and I'm too young to be doing this but does it look like I drew on my forehead, "I totally give a care"? If you think so, get some glasses. Anyway, I went downstairs and the boys were in the kitchen. They were still laughing but not at me. They were making their own jokes. When I entered the kitchen, they saw me and Calum said, "Meow." They all started laughing and Ashton said, "You know what? You need a nickname. Your new nickname is kitty cat."

Nicole: Kitty cat?

Luke: Yup.

Nicole: Wow. Real mature.

Calum: Now I'm guessing you're mad at us, aren't you?

Then I gave him the, Boy, Are You Dumb look. He then nodded because he recognized the face. I then sat down at the table and ate my breakfast. Luke had made me pancakes. After I ate the pancakes, I went back up to my room and decided to text Jessica.

Nicole: yo Jessie!

Jessica: hey Nicole! Good morning!

Nicole: I wish

Jessica: why? what happened?

Nicole: the boys pranked me

Jessica: how

Nicole: they drew a kitty cat on my face while I was sleeping and now my new nickname is kitty cat

Jessica: lol

Nicole: No I'm not LOL!

Jessica: oh sorry.

Nicole: they r meanies and I'm gonna give them the silent treatment

Jessica: oh come on Nicole. it shouldn't come down 2 that. they were just trying 2 have fun

Nicole: well 2 bad! this is what they get

Jessica: okay. u wanna go shopping sometime 2day?

Nicole: well I can't I'd have 2 ask somebody and I'm giving them all the silent treatment

Jessica: oh right

Nicole: I really wish I could

Jessica: I wish u could 2. there was this gorgeous top at the mall and i thought it would look great on u

Nicole: Omg! really?

Jessica: yup! sorry I gotta go now

Nicole: ok bye!

Jessica: bye!

I turned off my iPod and put it in my back pocket. Now to give everyone the silent treatment. By now they must be out of the kitchen. I went downstairs and saw them doing their own stuff like Luke was walking around on his phone and Ashton and Calum were watching TV in the living room. "Something you need, Kitty cat?" Calum asked smirking. Ashton laughed but I ignored. Then they all frowned. Including Luke as he stopped talking on his phone. I just kept on walking. I was on the trail to the kitchen until I heard Ashton say, "Please forgive us, Nicole. We were just having some fun." I turned my head around and raised one eyebrow, rolled my eyes and continued my way to the kitchen. I didn't know what I was going to do in the kitchen so I just decided to sit there and fiddle with my fingers. I made a sad face just in case one of the boys were to come in and see me. I was also thinking about my life. What should I do with it? I know that I write songs but maybe I should improve my vocals. Eh, I've got my whole life ahead of me. Who cares? Anyway, I turned my iPod on and was about to text Bernie until Luke came into the kitchen and started talking to me.

Luke: Nicole?

Nicole: (silence)

Luke: Nicole, come on. Just talk.

Nicole: (silence)

Luke: What do you want?

Nicole: (silence)

Luke: (sighs) I get it now. I know what you want us to say.

Nicole: (looks at Luke)

Luke: We're sorry, Nicole.

Nicole: ... I am shocked how long it took you to say that.

Luke: I know, I know.

Nicole: Finally! Anyway, can I go shopping with Jessica today?

Luke: Who's Jessica?

Nicole: A friend. Now can I?

Luke: Well who's going to take you there?

Nicole: You?

Luke: (sighs) Fine. Just promise me one thing.

Nicole: What?

Luke: You never give us the silent treatment again. Agreed?

Nicole: Agreed.

Luke: Great! When do you want to be taken?

Nicole: In an hour or so.

Luke: And you're going to the mall?

Nicole: Yep.

Luke: Good. Easy as that.

Nicole: Great.
