Calum. Calum was the winner. It was so unfair! He just copied my technique! I groaned and slumped on the couch. I said, "That was so unfair." Michael said to me, "Don't worry, Nicole. You'll beat him next time." I nodded and Calum said to me, "I've gotta admit, Nicole. You were really good... But I'm afraid I was better. HAHA!" I groaned and went up to my room. As I was going up, I heard I heard Calum yell to me, "Grumpy-face!" Oh, I just have to text Emma.

Nicole: I'm so mad right now Emma

Emma: *2 minutes later* Really? why?

Nicole: CALUM JUST BEAT ME AT JUST DANCE!!!

Emma: OMG he did?

Nicole: yeah! he's just 2 good and he was all like 'u were good Nicole... But I was better'

Emma: ugh how rude

Nicole: ikr? I'm not the loser here. he is

Emma: oh really? well Im not the one 2 really trash talk. Im more of the I-don't-even-care-dude kind of person

I turned my iPod off and put it in my pocket. But just as I put it in my pocket, I got another text. Maybe an extra one from Emma? No. It was from Taylor.

Taylor: Hey Nicole. u won't believe what just happened

Nicole: OMG what happened?

Taylor: I just got asked out!!!

Nicole: NO WAY!!!! U DID?!!?

Taylor: YEAH!!!

Nicole: by who?

Taylor: weeeeellll u wouldn't know him

Nicole: does he go 2 our school?

Taylor: yeah but he's a new kid and u haven't met him yet

Nicole: well how did he ask u out?

Taylor: well I was supposed 2 give him a tour of the school and we became friends so we exchanged texting numbers and after school he texted me and asked if I would like 2 go 2 the movies with him

Nicole: wow that's incredible

Taylor: ikr? I'm going 2night

Nicole: that's amazing

Taylor: has any guy looked at u yet?

Nicole: no I haven't been paying attention 2 them really

Taylor: well u should

Nicole: I doubt Calum would let some guy near me

Taylor: true.

Nicole: Theres a new guy living with me now named Michael and he's in a band with the others
