Chapter 201

Calum, Luke, Ashton, and Michael had come to pick me and we were in the car. "So... Nicole... Anything you'd like to say to us?" Said Michael. I then replied jokingly, "Oh, yeah. I took $10 from each of your wallets for myself. Oops."

Calum: We mean a 'thank you'?

Nicole: Oh. Well then, yeah. Thank you. Like, lots.

Ashton: No problem, Nicole! Now if you don't mind...

Ashton put his hand flat out implying he wants his money back. I said, "Oh, yeah! Oh, my god, I'm so rude." I then high fived Ashton and said, "Thank you for the money." I winked and sat back in my seat. Everybody laughed. It was silent for about 5 minutes and my eyes were drooping. I couldn't help but close them.

Michael's POV

I was sitting right beside Nicole in the back and was on my phone looking at Twitter. I looked over to Nicole and saw her sleeping. I smiled and soon enough, we had gotten home. I didn't wanna wake Nicole so I picked her up and brought her out of the car and into her room. I tucked her in, turned off her light, and have her a good night kiss before leaving her room.

THE NEXT DAY
10:03 AM

Nicole's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache as I groaned loudly. I looked at the time and instantly gasped. 10:00?!?!? I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL!!! LIKE, WAY LATE! Where is everyone?! Shouldn't they have woken me up? I jumped out of bed and looked down. I was wearing the same clothes as last night. Oh, yeah. I remember falling asleep in the car. Someone must've brought me up to my room. Well I gotta get changed and FAST. I don't wanna be any more late! I mean, today's my only chance to change Mr. Miller's mind about what he'll say to Ashton at the Parent/Teacher conference. I quickly went the washroom, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, changed my clothes, got my bag ready, and ran downstairs. That was until I had stopped to see Michael, Luke, Ashton, and Calum all sitting at the table laughing together. "Guys! Why didn't you wake me up? I'm late for school!" I said clearly stressed.

Calum: (laughs) Calm down, Nicole. We let you sleep in. You had quite the day yesterday and we thought you needed A LOT of rest. I'm gonna drop you off at school.

Nicole: Oh. Well, okay.

Ashton: How you feeling? Ready for the parent/teacher conference today?

Nicole: Uhh, sure.

Calum: Well, Nicole, you look pretty ready. I'll drop you off now.

Nicole: Okay.

AT SCHOOL IN THE CAFETERIA

"Well anyway, we're really sorry, Nicole. We were overreacting," apologized Taylor. I then replied, "Don't apologize. It was no big deal."

Jessica: Hey, am I the only one who thinks parent/teacher conferences are overrated?

Emma: Yes! But if I told that to my dad, he'd freak.

Nicole: Ashton's the one who's gonna talk to Mr. Miller.

Taylor: Ooh, you're toast.

Nicole: I know, I know. I wish I had actually paid attention in class and followed the rules... wait, nope. I don't regret a thing.

(Everyone laughs)

A/N Okay, so I know I said Jessica, Emma, and Taylor were in high school now but I just needed them for this one part. Sorry. I promise from now on they won't be at school. Nicole will just hang out with 3 other girls that I'll make up.
