Matt: so what's the big deal between u and Jessica?

Nicole: she's just upset with me bcuz I'm dating her old fav youtube star. she always used 2 freak out about u and stuff and she always told me I'd never date him and all that

Matt: well now look at u 😏

Nicole: yep! that'll show her. but I doubt this argument will last a week. none of our fights do

Matt: think she's gonna apologize?

Nicole: sometime 2morrow probably. so did u hear about the parent/teacher conference?

Matt: ya but my parents aren't going

Nicole: oh is it bcuz ur new and everything?

Matt: ya part of it is

Nicole: ok cool.

Matt: ugh my mom is calling me 2 go do the dishes

Nicole: Aww poor u 😢 I don't do dishes 😊

Matt: u don't? lucky!

Nicole: ikr? Anyway i'll leave u 2 ur dishes. bye babe

It was so cute how Matt and I sent the heart emojis at the end of our text. He sent a red normal heart and I pretty much sent the message that I received his heart as a gift and I'm keeping it. LOL. I was just about to go downstairs until I got an invitation to a group chat with Emma and Taylor. Ugh! Today is all about texting, isn't it? My fingers are going numb!

Nicole has joined the group chat

Nicole: hey guys

Taylor: Nicole wtf have u been doing?!? u haven't txted us in like 4ever!

Nicole: geez sorry Taylor! I've been txting Matthew and a little fight broke out between me and Jessica 2

Emma: see? I told u Taylor. I knew it was something 2 do with Matt. it always does

Nicole: what r u talking about

Taylor: and we tried inviting Jessica on the txt but she said she wasn't talking 2 u. why is that?

Nicole: she's mad at me cuz i'm dating Matt. u know who Matt really is now, don't u?

Emma: ya we figured it out on e news

Nicole: just what I thought. everybody has

Emma: Nicole u have been spending 2 much time with Matt and less time with us

Nicole: GUYS! GET AHOLD OF YOURSELVES! ITS BEEN A DAY!

Taylor: we know but still

Nicole: u know what? I am not going 2 waste my time on this stupid convo. i'm leaving. its 6:41 and I honestly am tired asf so goodbye

Emma: Nicole dont go

Nicole has exited the group chat

Seriously, what has gotten into everyone lately? They've all seemed to have gotten more and more jealous of me and Matt. First Jessica, now Emma and Taylor. It's madness! I mean, just when I've finally found the right guy for me, they go crazy. But when it's not the right guy, they're totally calm. I guess the only way to know if something is right for me is if my friends get jealous which is absolutely pathetic. I went downstairs and saw Luke making dinner. "Hey, Luke," I said to him.

Luke: Hey, Nicole. What's up?

Nicole: All of my friends are getting jealous of me because I'm dating Matthew.

Luke: Whoa. Where did that come from?

Nicole: Oh, sorry.

Luke: No, no. Don't apologize. I asked you what was up and you told me. Now explain.

Nicole: Well it's really frustrating how they all hate me now. By the end of the day, I bet Jessica's gonna apologize but Taylor and Emma are saying I'm spending too much time with Matt.

Luke: But it's barely been a day.

Nicole: I know! I never knew my friends could get jealous that fast.

Luke: Well maybe they're not jealous.

Nicole: What?

Luke: What if your friends just miss spending time with you?

Nicole: I never spend time with them except for at school. It's the weekends.

Luke: Yeah, but they miss talking to you, texting you. They're probably worried that you're gonna stop being their friends and just hang out with your boyfriend all the time.

Nicole: But that won't happen.

Luke: You never know, right? It could. I've seen it happen before. In fact, I have an old girlfriend whose friends actually started bullying her because she spent more time with me than them.

Nicole: Really?

Luke: Yep. But luckily, she told someone and those girls became her friends again so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Nicole: My friends wouldn't bully me.

Luke: I don't know, Nicole. Taylor and Emma are pretty capable of it.

Nicole: Luke...

Hey, guys! I know it's a short chapter and everything but I had to ask you all something. Here's the problem. I kind of forgot what grade Nicole was in. You see, ever since she got back to school, I think I forgot to change what grade everybody was in. I forgot to add Jessica, Emma, and Taylor into high school and now I am just so overwhelmed and mad at myself. I can never get anything right. I've just been freaking out about the little things that have been going on like how this morning I ran out of toothpaste and so I literally almost started crying and it's all because I messed up on this book. Please forgive me. I think I've messed up like 5 times already in the book and I'm sorry. I just don't know how to continue it. Should I continue it with Jessica, Emma, Taylor, and Hannah is high school and Nicole and Matt in grade 8? Or should I just end the school year again and then put everyone in a higher grade next year? I don't know. Both ideas would have to change a few things. You see, the reason I'm making such a big deal about the grades is because Nicole is supposed to be the same age as me and Taylor, Emma, Jessica, and Hannah are the same ages as the girls in real life at my school. Taylor, Emma, Jessica, and Hannah are all in high school now because school for me just ended and now its summer break. When I get to school, I'll be in grade 8 sooooooo that's the grade Nicole should be in. Until I get this whole thing straight, I'll need to put the book on hold. Could you guys please give me ideas and comment on the book to tell me what I'm supposed to do? You could message me or just comment. I just need ideas. I believe all my fans are very smart girls (I'm pretty sure all my readers are girls) and so please give me ideas. Thanks!
