Chapter 45

One Direction had to come over again because the guys said they had to leave to get something. I don't know what though. We were all watching a scary movie. "No! I'm telling you! It's not safe!" Jenny from the TV said. The characters were Jenny who was the scared teenager, John who was her boyfriend, and Lily who was her best friend.

John: Jenny, don't worry. I'll be fine. Just stay back.

(Dramatic music)

John: Hello?

Lily: JOHN! WATCH OUT!

John: What? (dies).

Jenny+Lily: JOHN!!!!!!!!!

Then the credits came up. "Wow, that was quite the movie," Louis stated. But I was scared to death. It was the scariest movie I've ever seen. But the worst part is, John was the cute one. Aww... I was terrified. Harry asked me, "How did you like the movie, Nicole?" I looked at him and said, "Uh, it was amazing! Best movie I've ever seen." Then Zayn said, "Wow, you must've really liked it. We should watch scary movies more often." I just ignored. Then the guys came home but Luke was holding this big box of something. "What's that?" I asked. They all exchanged looks and smiled. Even One Direction. "What?" I said. Then Calum, Ashton and Luke came over to the couch and sat down. "Nicole, we have a surprise for you," Luke said.

Nicole: Really?

Calum: Yes. Open the box.

Nicole: (Opens box). OH MY GOD!

When I opened the box, there stood the cutest... fluffiest... smallest... most gorgeous... most precious puppy I have ever seen in my life. Ashton said, "Her name is cocoa. She's one month old, yet was the smartest puppy there was. She's trained to protect people." I picked her up and she was so light.

Luke: And do you know how much money we spent on --

Calum: Luke!

Luke: $5000!

Calum: (sighs)

Nicole: Well if it was that much, why did you get it?

Ashton: We would spend an outrageous amount of money to keep you safe, Nicole. Now that you have cocoa, you will be safe and happy.

Nicole: This is amazing! Thank you so much!!!!

Ashton: Here is the food and stuff for it. (gives bag to Nicole)

After that, One Direction left and I brought cocoa to my room. I put her on my bed as she rolled around. It was so cute, I couldn't help but smile. Then I took a picture of her and sent it to Emma, Taylor and Jessica. They all loved it. After that, I noticed that she was sleepy so she slept and yet again, she looked as cute as ever. I went downstairs and saw all 3 guys downstairs. "So how's Cocoa?" Luke asked. I said, "She's sleeping and she is so cute." Then Ashton said, "Well, it's great that you are excited to have this puppy but I just want you to know that it takes a hug responsibly. Like feeding it, bathing it and taking it for walks."

Nicole: What? How often do I have to take it for walks?

Calum: Once a week.

Nicole: Can I start on Wednesday, tomorrow?

Luke: Sure.

Nicole: Great!

Calum: When is your summer break going to end?

Nicole: In about, 2 months.

Ashton: Awesome! Time for fun!

Luke: But that doesn't mean pranking Calum and I!

Nicole+Ashton: Aww...

Luke: (mumbles) $5000 after a cupcake explosion...

Nicole: Oh, get over it!

Luke: Hmph! Fine!

Then I went into the kitchen and saw a blue box. It was small and about the size of Cocoa. I wanted to open it but I realized that I'm mature and I need to take control of my own actions. So I didn't open it. I just made myself a chicken sandwich which took 10 minutes. I brought the sandwich to the living room and sat on the couch with the guys. I was about to grab one of the slices until Luke took it. "Hey!" I said. Luke responded, "Sorry. Just wanted to make sure it didn't explode in your face." Then I only had one slice of my sandwich left and I ate that one. After my sandwich, I put my dish in the sink and heard something upstairs in my room. Rattling and stuff. I went upstairs and saw Cocoa on my desk messing my papers around and throwing things. "Hey! Cocoa!" I said. I picked her up and put her on my bed. "Up already? It's only been, like, half an hour," I said. She was still looking as cute as ever. I stared at her. Then she was about to run back until I picked her up again and said, "No." I put her back on the bed. Yet, she got up again. I had to continuously pick her up and put her in my bed. After the 36th time, I just held her in my hands and said, "No! Stop it! Bad puppy!" Then she made a puppy whimper. The cutest whimper ever heard in history. But I wasn't buying it. "Don't give me that face. You are going to stay right here. One second," I said. Then I gripped her under my arm and grabbed her leash from the bag. I locked it so it would stay about 30 centimetres long. I hooked it onto my closet and put the leash on her collar. She tried to run when I put her down but she couldn't. She whimpered some more. I said, "Thats what you get. No more messing with my stuff." She was silent. Then I realized I needed to feed her. I got the food bag and bowl and put the bowl in front of her. I put the food in the bowl and a whole bunch of dog bone biscuits came out. She ate them up as I left the room. The guys were still on the couch watching some TV. "Seriously? What is so interesting that you guys have to watch for hours?" I asked as I went over to the couch. Calum responded, "Toy Story! Duh!" He looked back at the TV and I imitated his mouth with mine in a bratty tone before walking over to the kitchen again. Boy, am I bored? What should I do? I guess I could play with Cocoa. But she has been bad. She does not deserve play time. But its so tempting. She's so cute! Okay, maybe just a little play time. I went upstairs and took Cocoa off her leash as I put her in my lap. I sat on my bed. She curled up in a ball and softly scratched my shirt with her soft paws. I found it the cutest thing ever that I had to film it. I took my iPod out and filmed her.
