BACK TO THE STORY

I'm right. I have a crush and on my first day of school. Wow. But you know what? I'm going to try to keep this away from Luke, Ash and Cal because you never know how they could react. So I'm gonna keep this to myself. Right now, I went downstairs and saw the guys talking on the couch. I knew what I had said and I explained to the boys, "Sorry, guys. I was distracted. I can tell you about my day." Of course, I told them about my day but I didn't include the crush part. But then Luke asked me, "Did you meet any boys?" I can't lie. I couldn't tell if Luke would be mad or happy if I met a boy. "No," I replied. And I didn't lie. I didn't meet Carson. I just saw him. But then it got worse. Ash asked, "So no crushes or anything?" But I had to be honest. "Well, kind of," I replied. They all smiled. Every single one of them. "Aw, that's so cute -- I mean, cool!" Ashton said. Luke and Ashton kept on talking about it but Calum was silent. Eventually, he said he was going to the kitchen to grab a snack. Then he left.

CALUM'S POV

Are you kidding me? Nicole's first day of school and she already has a crush? This is terrible. Eventually this crush is going to turn into a boyfriend and then a heartbreak. I just want Nicole to be safe. I just don't wanna tell her that because you know how kids are. You know how Nicole reacted when she found out Luke read her texts. She freaked! But Luke was only reading them to keep her safe. I just don't want Nicole to be hurt. After all, I am her "big brother."

NICOLE'S POV

After talking to Luke, Ash, and Calum about my little crush, I felt relieved. Like a weight's been lifted off my shoulder. But not all the weight. Besides, the crush is only a crush. Its not a couple thing. What if he doesn't like me back? Anyway, it was 6:32 and we had dinner. For some reason, Calum was still silent. I don't know why though. "Calum, you've been silent ever since I talked about my day at school. Are you alright?" I asked him. He replied, "Oh, yeah, I'm fine."

CALUM'S POV

I think that I should just calm down a little because its just one crush. Its not like she's going to be dating any time soon.

NICOLE'S POV

Ashton, Luke and I continued to talk throughout dinner and Calum was still silent. After dinner, I was really tired throughout my day so I went to sleep. I know it was early but who cares?

THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL

Jessica: You know there's a rumour going on about Carson.

Nicole: Ugh, new kid madness.

Jessica: No, it's just that they say Carson looks to date the ones younger than him, like, 12 year olds. Plus, I heard he doesn't go slow in a relationship. He just gets at it, if you know what I mean.

Nicole: What? I thought he was the same age as me.

Jessica: Nope. You're in grade 7 and he's in grade 8.

Nicole: Oh.

Jessica: But now you have a better chance than me. Ask him.

Nicole: Ask him what?

Jessica: To go out.

Nicole: Here in the cafeteria? No way!

Jessica: Come on, Nicole. Be a woman and go.

Nicole: Jess, its usually the boy who asks the girl out.

Jessica: Well, then I guess we'll see. Look to your right.

I looked to my right to see 3 guys staring at Jessica and I, and one of the boys just happened to be Carson. All of a sudden, Carson started walking towards me. "Here's your chance. Stay cool," Jessica whispered. I was worried. When Carson got up to me, he said, "Hello. What's your name?" He had a very nice voice and a nice smile too. I responded, "Uh, my name's Nicole. What's yours?" Even though I already knew his name, I didn't want to seem like a stalker. He replied, "My name is Carson. I'm new here." I said, "So am I." I wasn't really new but I just came back after a month.

Carson: Really? How nice. You know, I'd really like to get to know you some time so... you, me, back of the library after school. Meet me there. (winks, points and does that clicking thing 2 times with his mouth that people do.)

Then Carson walked away. "Wow, that went well," Jessica said. "Ooh, the guys are going to be so happy," I added. After school, I purposely missed the bus and went to the library. I looked in the back and saw a door open. I went in but nobody was there. All of a sudden, I heard the door close behind me. I flinched and turned around to see Carson. "Hi, again," he said. "Oh, jeez, you scared me," I said.

Carson: Sorry 'bout that. How about I calm you down with a little romance to make it up. (dims light and walks towards Nicole)

Nicole: Uh, well, actually I thought we were just going to get to know each other.

Carson: We are. You'll know how I kiss and I'll know how you kiss. (pushes Nicole on ground).

Nicole: Uh, Carson, I'm not ready. I've never kissed before.

Carson: Well, there's a first for everything. (gets on top of Nicole)

Nicole: (pushes Carson off) Carson, chill. I can't do this. I have to go.

Carson: (gets back on Nicole) But we've just begun. (holds Nicole's arms above her head)

Nicole: Carson, back off!

Carson: Shh, it'll all be over soon.

I started to cry. I couldn't get out and I knew what he was doing to me. Then, he put his mouth on my neck and sucked. I cried harder. I was so scared. I then did something that had to be a sacrifice. I lifted my leg up and kneed him where the sun don't shine. He rolled off Of me as he groaned. I got up but he grabbed my arm and pulled. He grabbed so hard I screamed. He was squeezing my arm so hard I was feeling dizzy and the room was spinning. I knew I was about to faint so I thought fast. I kneed him again and he fell backward. I was still standing and he tripped me. I fell to the ground and hurt my leg really bad, I knew a bruise would appear. I was on the ground and he got up and I was about to push him until he slapped me on the face. I whimpered. My cheek burned and I could feel my eye getting swollen instantly. It was a tough slap. I finally pushed him off so hard that he went crashing into a pile of library supplies. I quickly opened the door and ran out. I couldn't run that fast because of the bruises on my legs and I couldn't see because of my swollen eye. I had to call someone other than the guys. I went around the corner to the office and saw a phone. I was about to call Jessica but I knew she couldn't drive. Her mom would have to drive and I can't let any adult know about this. What am I going to do? Am I going to be stuck with Carson for the night?
