Chapter 97

"Hey, Nicole! How are you today?" Asked Calum in the nicest voice ever.

NICOLE'S POV

Calum was talking really nice to me when I entered the kitchen. And I know exactly why. But I decided to forgive them. They didn't mean to hurt my feelings or anything. I responded to Calum nicely with a smile, "Good." Ashton then said, "Well you seem happy today."

Nicole: I guess I am.

Luke: Just so you know, Nicole, we're --

Calum: Luke, leave it.

Nicole: No, it's okay. I forgive you guys. I know you were just worried. Can we all just forget about this?

Ashton: Uh, yeah! Of course.

Nicole: Good. Whats for breakfast?

Then Calum put a plate of pancakes in front of me. I ate them. After that, I went upstairs, brushed my teeth again and went back downstairs. It was 7:41. I decided to watch some TV before going to school. When it was 8:15, I left to the bus stop. The bus came and I got on. I sat at the very back and stared out the window. That was until Jessica came on. We talked and talked until we got to school. We hung out and talked some more and eventually, Emma and Taylor joined in.

Emma: ... How could they even think that thought?

Nicole: I know, right? I pretended to forgive them this morning so that they wouldn't make such a big deal out of it. I really wanted them to forget about it all.

Taylor: But that's terrible! I mean, even if Taylor did do that, I wouldn't be mad.

Nicole: Oh my god, you dirty minded idiot!

Taylor: (laughs) I'm kidding, I'm kidding!

(Everyone laughs)

Jessica: Taylor must've been really nice, wasn't he?

Nicole: Yep!

Emma: ERMAHGAWD!! I totally forgot to tell you, Nicole! I think I know who your secret admirer is!

Nicole: Oh my god! Who?

Emma: Um, Taylor, you might not like this.

Taylor: Why? Who is it?

Emma: It's Eli.

Jessica: Whoa, what?!

Taylor: Oh, no way. Eli wouldn't do that. He's dating me. It's definitely not him.

Emma: Then why did I see a guy wearing the same hoodie Eli does sneak a note into Nicole's locker during lunch?

Taylor: Huh?

Nicole: Uh, you know what? I'm not afraid of speaking to Eli. I can talk to him myself and ask him if he's it. In fact, I'll do it right now.

Jessica: Nicole, are you sure about this?

Nicole: Yes, I'm 100% sure. Watch this.

I ditched the girls and walked up to Eli who was hanging out with his other cool guy friends. I tapped on his shoulder and he turned around. I said to him, "Hi, Eli. You know me. Nicole? I just wanted to ask you if I'm right, which I'm probably not, are you my secret admirer?" I was waiting for him to say no but I guessed wrong. "Great. You got it. I'm your secret admirer. I've been waiting so long to ask this and I know it's really far away but will you go to the Valentine's Dance with me?" He said. I was shocked. Eli is ACTUALLY my secret admirer. I did not see this coming. All the guys around him oohed. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't embarrass him in front of his friends. It looked like they really looked up to him. Everyone wanted me to say yes and I couldn't let him down. Yet, if I say yes, that means I'm going out with my BEST FRIENDS BOYFRIEND!! I really don't know what to do!
