After class had finished, I went to the cafeteria for lunch. I sat with 3 girls that I had grown to be friends with since Jessica, Emma, and Taylor went to high school. Their names are Georgia, Riley, and Chloe. When we had finished eating, we decided to go outside and wait for class to start. All of a sudden, that kid I saw in class earlier came up to us. Oh, I forget what his name was. It was like Joan or James or -- or JACK! That's what it was. You see, I wasn't paying much attention to him because I was kind of pissed at his behaviour towards me. Boy, I wonder why he's coming my way. 😒 Georgia, Riley, and Chloe all saw him and Riley's like, "Ooh. Who's the hot guy coming our way? Hey, how's my hair? Is my makeup alright?" Yeah, Riley is the type of girl to pay attention to boys and dating. She has a new boyfriend like, every 2 weeks. Maybe less than that but whatever. As Jack finally approached us, he said to me, "Hey, long time, no see." But before I could say anything back, Riley stepped really close to him and said, "Not sure we've met before but thank The Lord we have now." Her body was literally touching his and I rolled my eyes. I pulled her back gently and she stumbled on her heels but she was okay. I stepped closer to Jack and said, "Wow, Jack. Skipping detention, are you?"

Jack: Wow. You actually remembered my name.

Nicole: Well it wasn't easy.

Jack: (chuckles) So, uh, where's your boyfriend at?

Nicole: What's it to you?

Jack: Nicole, Morman is my friend. I've known him for awhile now.

Nicole: Number 1, he's only been here for a month and number 2, his name is Matthew. Mormon? Really? That's not even close. So much for being his friend.

Jack: Okay, Nicole. What is it that Matthew has that I don't?

Nicole: Well --

Jack: Rhetorical question. Don't answer that.

Riley: Hey, Nicole may not be available but I know someone who is --

Nicole: Oh, shut up, Riley, he's no good for you.

Riley: Hmph. 😒

Jack: Well what would you do if Matthew broke up with you?

Nicole: He wouldn't.

Jack: But what if he did? Just what if?

Nicole: Then I still wouldn't accept you.

Jack: Huh. Odd.

(Bell rings)

Chloe: Come on, Nicole. Let's leave. We don't wanna be late to class.

Georgia: Chill out, Chloe. A couple minutes won't hurt nobody. I wanna see this.

Chloe: (face palm)

Matthew's POV

Me and some of my friends had finished our lunches so we went outside to hang. While we were chilling and talking, I glanced over to see Nicole and her friends talking to Jack again. Oh, hell no. I hope they haven't became friends already. I don't think she knows who he really is.

Nicole's POV

Nicole: Jack, what do you really have against Matthew? Is it 'cause you're jealous?

Jack: I have nothing against your boyfriend.

Nicole: Then why are we even talking? Goodbye, Jack.

Jack: But wait!

Nicole: (sighs) What? What is it?

Jack: I like you. A lot.

Nicole: And what's that supposed to do? Change my mind? How many times do I have to tell you? I'm taken, Jack.

Riley: But I'm not!

Jack: Hey, you know what? You are kinda pretty. Is your name Riley? That's such a beautiful name.

Nicole: You see? That just SHOWS how stupid you are! First you want me, then you want her?! Who do you think you are?

Jack: It doesn't matter. Riley seems to like me.

Nicole: Well sorry. She's too good for you and you just don't deserve her.

Chloe: Guys! A teacher is coming this way! We need to get to class!

Nicole: See ya' later, Jack.

Me, Georgia, Riley, and Chloe quickly ran to class before the teacher approached us. Eventually we got to class on time and started working. As you noticed, Chloe is the scared type who wants to be on time. That's because she's smart and is the studying type. So now you know who Riley and Chloe are, it'd be weird not to explain to you who Georgia is. She's just the type to take selfies and post pics on Instagram. That's it. I mean, I know it sounds like she doesn't have a lot of potential but she does. Kind of. I mean, don't tell her I said this but she's kind of the dumb one in the group. Me, Riley, and Chloe all have good ideas but when Georgia talks, the strangest of strange things can come out of her mouth. I'm sure you all have at least one friend like that. If not, that probably means you don't have friends at all.
