Chapter 53

When Ashton and I finished the TwitCam, we both went downstairs and saw Calum and Luke sitting on the couch watching Wheel Of Fortune. I suddenly heard Luke yell, "LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD!" Then Calum groaned and said to Luke, "Luke, the topic is sports." I thought, Wow, Luke must be really bad at this game. Ashton and I sat on the couch with them and guessed the words and then Jeopardy came on. "I love watching game shows," Luke said. Then Ashton replied, "Just because you love watching game shows, doesn't mean you're good at getting the answers right." Luke stuck his tongue out at Ashton and Ashton stuck it back. I laughed and said, "I'm gonna go into the kitchen and get a snack." Calum turned and stood up. "Yeah, me too," he said. Then we both went into the kitchen. When we got there, Calum decided to make him and I a sandwich so I just sat down on the table waiting. He started talking and said, "The 1D guys are coming over again today."

Nicole: Oh, really?

Calum: Yep. Luke, Ash, and I have to go to the studio.

Nicole: Cool.

Calum: They are going to stay the night though because we have to do some other things too.

Nicole: Oh, okay. What time are they coming?

Calum: 7:00.

Nicole: Okay, then.

Calum: It's 5:44 right now so we'll be leaving at 6:50.

Nicole: Cool. Ten minutes in the house alone.

Calum: Hold up. Ten minutes. Not very long.

Nicole: Aw.

Calum: (gives sandwich) Here you go.

I brought my sandwich to the living room and so did Calum. We finished it up. We then watched Walburgers. After that show was done, I saw Ashton and Luke coming downstairs with their jackets on and shoes. "Calum, we have to go now," said Luke. I looked at the clock and it was 6:41. "Bye, guys," I said. Then they left. Well, if I only have 10 minutes, I might as well use my time wisely. I went to the kitchen and got a packet of Oreos as I went to my room, turned my music on and started dancing. I danced to Swagger Jagger by Cher Lloyd. It was on the replay three times before I heard a door open. I turned it off, hid the Oreos, and went downstairs. Louis looked at me and said, "Hey, love, whatcha' doing?" I said to him, "Just studying." Then Liam said, "Good job, Nicole." Then for some reason, Harry started laughing and said, "Yeah, right." Then we all started laughing. I guess they know me so well that they know that I will never EVER be caught studying. Niall said, "We brought a new scary movie, Nicole." My stomach clenched up and I gulped. I said, "Uh, what movie?" Zayn responded, "Insidious." I've never heard of the movie before but it sounded scary. "Let's watch it now because its getting dark," Harry said. My stomach clenched up again. Then we all went over to the couch in the living room to watch the movie.

AFTER THE MOVIE

I was leaning on Louis, shivering as I was scared half to death. But I didn't show them I was scared. Harry said, "Boy, was that boring." I really wanted to disagree. If anything, it was the opposite of boring. "We should all get some sleep now. Get ready for the nightmares to come," said Liam. Wow, thanks for that. Just my luck. I was about to go up the stairs to go to my room until I got really scared. I didn't want to be alone. I stood at the bottom of the staircase just looking up. Then Zayn said, "Are you okay there, princess?" I looked at him and said, "Yeah, I'm fine." He responded, "Okay, good night." I said good night back and finally went upstairs. When I got to my room, the fears came again. I tried to ignore them by just feeding Cocoa and hopping into bed. Then, I slept.

I was walking down the stairs trying to find what that terrible noise was. It sounded like a calm yet angry growl. I went to the kitchen and saw a man. A tall man. He was turned around so all I could see was his back until his head turned a full 90 degree angle without his body moving at all. It was humanly impossible. I gasped as he looked at me with his red bloodshot eyes. It was completely silent, no movement at all... THEN SLAM! The guy flew into me as I screamed.

Then I woke up, screaming and crying. I continued to scream for several seconds until all 5 of the guys came rushing into my room running to my bed worried as ever. "Nicole, what happened?!?!" Asked Louis. Then I said while crying, "He was there. The red eyed man." I was crying horrendously. It was silent in the room but as I was looking down, I could see from the corner of my eye that all 5 of them were giving each other guilt looks and Ooh, we're dead looks. Louis hugged me and said, "Nicole, how about you sleep with Zayn and I tonight? We'll all share a room, okay?" I nodded and then all of us left to our places. I went to the room Zayn and Louis were staying in and that was Calum's room. When we all got in, Louis closed the door. I got into the King sized bed with Zayn and then Louis came to lay down too. "Okay, as long as you're with us, you won't have any bad dreams," said Zayn. Then we all said good night.
