Calum and I went upstairs to my room and looked through my wardrobe. I sat on my bed. While Calum was looking through my wardrobe he said, "You've got a fair amount of stylish clothes so we don't have to go shopping." I sighed. Calum then picked out a pink dress from my wardrobe and said, "Put this on," and he shoved it in my face. I went to the washroom, put it on, and went back to my room. Calum saw me and said, "Perfect! That was easy. Now because you already have shoes to wear, we are going to worry about your hair. Now I was thinking about just a simple side ponytail with a nice silver clip, what do you think?" I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Okay." Calum then told me to come over to him and sit down. Calum put my hair into a nice side ponytail and by the time it was done, it actually looked nice. I looked in the mirror and said, "Wow, Calum. I didn't know you could do hair that well." He shrugged his shoulders and said, "You don't know everything about me," with a smirk and a wink. I smiled. I ended up glancing at my calendar behind Calum and I noticed SCHOOL WAS TOMORROW. I didn't say anything though. Calum probably already knew. Anyway, now we were onto makeup. "Oh, come on, Calum. I mean, yes, you were good at hairstyling but I'm not so sure you should do my makeup," I said. Calum responded, "Just trust me. I'll get everything from the washroom." Then Calum went to the washroom and brought back eyeshadow, lipstick, foundation, mascara, and a mini mirror. Calum told me to stay still so he could do it. I was scared. It took quite a long time for Calum to do my makeup. When he was done, I looked in the mirror and was stunned once again. "Calum! Where do you learn these things?" I said to him. He laughed. "Time to do your nails! Or do you not trust me with that either?" he said. I responded, "Oh, I trust you, I trust you." Then Calum did my nails which another shocking experience. I couldn't believe what Calum had turned me into and how well he had done everything. I got my shoes on and looked in the mirror. I looked gorgeous, but I was tired. So much patience. "Calum, I'm tired," I told him. "How much time have we spent on this?" I added.

Calum: 3 hours.

Nicole: So we still have an extra hour. And how long is the party?

Calum: 2 hours.

Nicole: *groans* I'm going to pass out at the party!

Calum: Don't worry. And just so you know, you are going to be on camera. People are going to just come up to you with cameras and say, "SMILE," and you're going to have to obey them, okay?

Nicole: Okay.

Calum: Also, there is going to be a best dressed person at the party.

Nicole: Ugh, that's not going to be me. I mean, I admit, I do look nice but there are probably going to be other girls who are going to look nicer.

Calum: No way. You never know, Nicole. You could win.

Nicole: I doubt it. Now what do I do for the next hour?

Calum: Practise.

Nicole: What?

Calum: You have to practise talking and walking and strutting and flowing.

Nicole: Um, okay?

Calum: But I can't help you. I have to use this hour to get myself ready.

Nicole: But don't you need the 4 hours like I did? You only have one hour.

Calum: Nicole, for men it takes less time. *walks out*

For that hour of practising, I can't even bare to tell you how painful it was. My feet were hurting already, my cheeks were burning from smiling too much, and I needed to sit down immediately. Calum looked at his watch and said, "Oh, time to go." He was all dressed up in a nice suit with nice hair and nice shoes and pants. Anyway, we got to the car and drove to the place. It wasn't that long of a drive. I wish it was though. That means I got more time to rest. When we got there, I saw photographers and celebrities and lights flashing. It was mad there. Before I could get out, Calum said, "Wait, don't get out yet. I'm going to get out first, come over to your side and open your door for you, okay?" I said okay and we went on with that plan. When I got out, people got louder. I walked with Calum as we got inside. Outside may have been crazy but inside was worse. It was just too crowded. I asked Calum why Luke and Ashton didn't come and he simply explained how Luke and Ashton hate these types of parties and didn't wanna go. Calum whispered to me, "Remember, smile, Nicole." I instantly put a huge smile on my face. All of a sudden, a beautiful girl jumped in front of me and said, "Oh. My. God. You're Nicole Hood!" Whoa. I didn't know people had changed my last name. The girl said, "I'm Teresa and I'm like, a HUGE FAN!"

Nicole: You are? I mean, um, thank you!

Teresa: *grabs Nicole's hands* Like, OH. EM. GEE. Your nails are like, totes awesome. And your cuticles are just so cute!! *squeals* I wish I was you. You are soooo pretty. I just love you.

Nicole: Oh, my goodness. Thank you so much.

Teresa: You're 12, right?

Nicole: Yeah.

Teresa: Well I'm 19 and I just am soooo jealous of your life. I mean, you're living with the 3 hottest guys in the world! I have 4 brothers and they are like, totes annoying. I bet Calum, Luke and Ashton are so good to you.

Nicole: You are sadly mistaken.

Teresa: *laughs* You're awesome. Well I gotta go talk to some other friends but I'll see you around. Bye!

Nicole: Bye!

Teresa left and I was just shocked at how jumpy she was. I asked Calum where the washroom was. I needed to check my hair. He said it was upstairs around the corner. I thanked him and went upstairs. As I went up the stairs I was just about to enter the washroom until 3 girls came out giggling. They saw me and one of them said, "Oh, hey! I know you! You're the bitch of the west, aren't you?" Her and her friends started laughing. I widened my eyes. I got her little insult there. Instead of using 'witch' of the west she changed it to 'bitch' of the west. But you probably already got that. I needed to give her and her friends a piece of my mind...
