Chapter 8

After my little conversation with Luke, I decided to go talk to the rest of the guys. I went into the living room and said, "Hey guys."

Calum: Pay up.

Nicole: What?

Calum: Oh, sorry. Ash and I made a little bet whether you were giving us the silent treatment or not and I guessed not. I win.

Nicole: Yeah, I totally wasn't giving you the silent treatment. I would never do that.

Ashton: (groans and gives $5 to Calum)

Calum: Thank you.

Then I went upstairs to my room to go text Jessica.

Nicole: Yo guess what? Luke said sorry so i decided 2 talk 2 him and I asked him if I could go 2 the mall and he said sure

Jessica: great! when do u wanna go?

Nicole: in an hour or so

Jessica: so at about 12:00?

Nicole: yeah

Jessica: cool see ya there

Nicole: u 2! bye

Jessica: bye!

As time flew by, it was 12:00 and Luke had taken me to the mall with Jessica already. After I had gotten home, I decided to prank the boys. The silent treatment was just the beginning. By the way, I was lying to Calum and Ashton. I was giving the silent treatment but I just wanted to see Ash give Calum money. LOL! Anyway, I was thinking about what I could do. Maybe I could do what they did to me! In the night, I'm gonna draw animals on their faces whether they like it or not! Maybe Calum should be a monkey, Luke should be a zebra, and Ashton should be a lion. And don't worry, I'm quite the artist when it comes to payback. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to wait until tonight.

10:00 PM AT NIGHT

Okay, I've got the face paint. Check! Of course I'm gonna have face paint just lying around if I'm a prankster. Anyway, Luke is asleep, Calum's asleep and I don't know about Ashton. By the way, they live here. Like, all 3 of them. It gets pretty awkward but anyway, I went to Ash's room to see if he was sleeping or not and he was. Check! Now, here I go. Ashton first. He's gonna be the lion. After that, I did Luke. Then I did Calum and I was done. I also took pictures of them and sent them to Bernie and Jessica. But I didn't put it anywhere else because I don't have any social media sites. But any who, I went to bed after that and waited for morning to come.

THE NEXT MORNING: 8:00 AM

I woke up and instantly remembered my prank I had done on the boys. Woohoo! I wonder if they've woken up yet. I got out of my bed and did everything and then went down to the kitchen to see nobody there. "What?" I said to myself confused. Then I realized they probably aren't awake. Weird. They usually wake up before I do. Anyway, I went to their beds and saw each and every one of them lying there asleep. Plus, each and every one of them were shirtless. (shivers) I went down to the kitchen and made myself some cereal. I finished my cereal quite quickly and while I stood up to put my bowl in the sink, I heard footsteps upstairs. Yes! Somebody's awake! Soon enough, I heard 2 other footsteps. Wow, these guys wake up all at the same time! Anyway, 7 seconds later, I heard 3 yells and grunts. I smirked to myself and went over to the sink. I put my bowl there and I ran all the way to my room. I didn't want to be caught right away. No matter what, they'll know it was me. I closed my door and just leaned on it. I put my ear against it to hear any sounds coming from their rooms or anywhere else and I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and Calum saying, "Nicole! Where are you?!?" I snickered a laugh and then I remembered something. If they were shirtless while they were sleeping, would they still be shirtless now? I wonder if they get their shirts on before they look in the mirror in the mornings. Yeah, there is no possible way that I am going to take the risk of looking at their tough muscles and thick abs! It would be just weird. All of a sudden, I heard footsteps near my room. Oh no! I felt like a monster was coming for me. Actually, scratch that. 3 monsters! What am I going to do? I guess there's nothing to do. Okay, I guess I'll just have to keep my head up to shield my eyes. I stepped away from the door, jumped on my bed, took my iPod out and pretended to do nothing. As the 3 bodies barged into my room, I didn't look at them. Though from the corner of my eye, I could see their blurry chests. Thank goodness I could see they were wearing pants! Anyway, Luke said, "Ha ha. Very funny, Nicole." I still didn't up and replied with, "Whats funny?" I tried to pretend to act innocent, if you know what I mean. Calum then said, "You are a cruel... naughty... evil little girl." Then I finally looked up at them and said, "Don't forget genius." Surprisingly, it didn't look that bad... mainly because I was looking at the very tops of their heads. Before the boys left the room, Ashton said, "We'll get you back for this, Nicole." I replied with, "Have fun with that," while looking back down at my iPod. They exited the room and I let out a big breath. Thank goodness that's over! Now I have absolutely nothing to worry about. You would think I'd be worried about them getting me back but don't worry, I am the prank master and nobody can get revenge on me. (evil laugh).
