Chapter 29

After all that, all of us sat on the couch and just talked. The weird thing is that we mainly talked about me. And I didn't even start the conversation! I know I should probably be that person who wants it to be all about me but I actually don't.

Ashton: ...and then I just shoved the cake in her face!

Luke: So that's how that whole thing started.

Justin: Well, I never knew popcorn could ruin people's lives.

(Everyone laughs)

We talked and talked... and talked and talked... and talked and talked. Jeez, do you get what I'm saying? I can't believe nobody lost their voices. We actually talked for 2 hours! Soon enough, Justin had to go and I was relieved. Not because he had to go, it was because the conversation would FINALLY end! Thank goodness! When he left, I plopped down on the couch and just laid there. "Tired, eh?" Luke asked me. "You have no idea," I responded. He laughed. Then I yawned. Calum put his hands on his hips and said, "Wow, you must be really tired. You need to get some sleep." I responded, "Yeah, you're probably right. Gonna go to sleep now. Good night!" I stood up and I heard everybody else say good night is sync. I went up to my room, changed into my PJ's and went to sleep. 💤

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up at 8:53 and did everything I was supposed to. After that, for some reason, Luke had told me to go take a walk. I asked him why and all he said was, because I said so. But it wasn't a mean I said so. It was more of a joking I said so. But anyway, I did what he said (because he said so) and took a walk. It was a very nice day outside. Birds were chirping, wind was blowing (but not too hard, it was just right), and the trees were swaying. I decided to walk to the park and back. After my walk, I came back home and felt really calm. The house was so quiet. "Guys? Where are you?" I yelled. I heard Ashton respond, "We're in here!" I could hear that they were in my room. Oh no!!! I instantly ran to my room and saw that all of them were on my bed. "What are you doing in here?" I asked them as I walked in. "Oh, we were just talking," Luke responded. He sounded annoyed or irritated.
Nicole: Well, can't you talk somewhere else?

Calum: No.

Nicole: Why not?

Luke: BECAUSE ASHTON IS SCARED OF A STUPID SPIDER!!!!!!

Nicole: A spider? What are you talking about?

Calum: Ashton saw a spider in his room and he doesn't want to go back there.

Nicole: Can't one of you guys kill it?

Luke: Uhh... Calum can!

Nicole: Why can't you? You're not scared of a spider too, are you?

Luke: Um...

Calum: Oh, my, god, Luke! You are kidding! You know what? Fine! I will kill the spider because I'm a man!!!!!

Then Calum walked out and I followed him out of my room. He took a shoe from downstairs and went up to Ashton's room. He killed the spider and he told Ashton. Eventually, everyone left my room. Finally! Then I decided to text Jessica.

Nicole: hey Jessica what's up

Jessica: nm u?

Nicole: I just found out that
Luke and Ashton r scared of spiders

Jessica: aren't u 2?

Nicole: shhhhh...

Jessica: 🙊

Nicole: what're u doing right now

Jessica: I was doodling

Nicole: cool

Jessica: I'm really bored now I'm out of doodle ideas

Nicole: I'm bored 2

Jessica: do u wanna go 2 the park? I just got a new volleyball so we can play

Nicole: sure! I'm going go tell Luke

Jessica: Kk
