Ed stayed for a couple more hours and then he had to leave. When he left, it was 7:32 PM. I decided to just watch some TV. I watched Blue Bloods for a bit and then Calum came to watch with me. At commercials we would talk about it.
Nicole: Wait, why would that guy just leave when she yelled?
Calum: I have no idea. That part makes no sense.
Nicole: Bet you Danny's going to freak.
Calum: Bet you not.
Nicole: Lets make this fun. Bet you $5 I'm right.
Calum: Psh! You're on!
Moments later, I had just won $5. Calum was mad but not cookie mad. When the show ended, he said, "Hey, I'm gonna go to the kitchen and get some tea and maybe some biscuits. Do you want some?" I started to laugh. He then said, "Why are you laughing?" I responded, "Your Australian accent! It's just so funny." He started laughing too. "I've never really liked having an Australian accent," he announced.
Nicole: (raises eyebrows) Why not? You sound awesome!
Calum: I don't know. I guess I just wish I didn't have an accent at all.
Nicole: Oh, please! The people who don't have events today, want accents like you. Can you even do an impression of somebody without an accent?
Calum: Sure. I'll imitate you. Hi, I'm Nicole. I have no accent whatsoever.
Nicole: (laughs) Nice job!
Calum: I wish I didn't have to pretend to have that accent.
Nicole: Hm, I have an idea.
Calum: Shoot.
Nicole: For the rest of the day, why don't you and I try doing each other's accents? You pretend not to have one and I'll try an Australian accent.
Calum: Sure, but can you even do an Australian accent?
Nicole: Uh, I can try. Uh, I have an Australian accent and I sound awesome.
Calum: (laughs) Awesome! So are we gonna do this or what?
Nicole: Well first, what happens if somebody forfeits?
Calum: The other person wins and gets $5. So that means I'm about to get my money back.
Nicole: We'll see about that.
Then both Calum and I went to our rooms and I started to text Taylor, Jessica, and Emma. Well, I texted Emma but forwarded it to Taylor and Jessica.
Nicole: Hey Emma! guess what? Calum and I r having a contest 2 c who can do each others accent 4 the rest of the day
Emma: say what now? Calum has an accent?
Nicole: oh yeah. u don't know 5sos. Calum and the guys have Australian accents
Emma: Omg! that is so cool!
Nicole: ikr? Calum is going 2 try and have no accent 4 the rest of the day and I'm going 2 speak Australian
Emma: wow can I come over?
Nicole: sure
Emma: I'll be there in 10 mins
Nicole: oh dang it
Emma: what?
Nicole: now I have 2 tell Ashton and Luke that u r coming in an Australian accent! they r going 2 be so weirded out!
Emma: well don't forfeit! u need 2 win!
Nicole: got it! thnx 4 the motivation! bye!
Emma: bye!
I turned off my iPod and made my way to Luke's room. I peeked in his room and saw him with his guitar. Remember the time I broke his strings? Ah, good times, good times. I said in my Australian accent, "Luke, Emma is going 2 be coming over soon in 10 minutes." I couldn't help but smile at how funny I sounded. He smiled and said while laughing, "Are you making fun of me?" I then said, "No, Calum and I are having a contest on who can use the other person's accent for the whole day. Listen to him. He sounds weirder than me. By the way, can you give this message to Ashton? I don't want to explain it again in this accent." He laughed some more and said, "Sure."
