The big fight

Mer and I met in one of the on-call rooms.
" did you get Zolas jacket?" I asked
"Yes Derek. You can't even trust me anymore."
" don't be ridiculous I trust you."
" no you don't. You hate me now so you don't trust me with the kids. And now you are going crazy over this job offer. You said you were gonna take a break and you lied."
" I didn't take the job. I stayed. I GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR YOU!"
" see there it is again. That was everything to you?"
I walked out.
" shepherd somebody is here to see you." Wilson said
" where are they?"
" conference room."
I walked in.
" Jamie."
"Dr. Shepherd."
" what are you doing here?"
" the president sent me. He doesn't like being told no."
" who does. But I can't I've got to much going on right now."
" we know. We heard. So sorry about you an your wife."
" thank you."
" but look over the new proposal and let me know what you think. I'm in town for the day. I know you're a doctor so I'll wait."
" I'm sorry but I can't. Please tell him I'm very sorry."
" here's my number if you change your mind."
" mmhmm."
She got on the elevator and she was gone. I found Meredith to go home. And of course she started another fight. I interrupted her.
" they offered me the job again today."
" good. Go. Take it. You should take it. Call them."
" oh I will."
I got on the phone.
" Jamie. derek shepherd. I've thought it over and you can tell the president that I'd be more than happy to take the job. Yes me too. Talk to you soon. Bye."
" good go."
" oh I am."
" good leave. Go! Now!"
I turned around and left."
