I was standing with Jackson, Mark, and Callie in the main lobby talking.
" so what does Zola think about another baby?" Callie asked
" well she's four now and bailey is two so she doesn't mind."
" isn't she five?" Mark asked
" she will be in a month and a half."
" that's good so she'll be going to kindergarten" Jackson said
" yeah."
" where? How is she gonna get there?" Callie asked " because we don't know where to put Sofia and Mark isn't any help with his new baby."
" hey! Don't make it sound like I love Sofia any less just because Elizabeth was born! I am a good father and I talked to some schools but she would have to take the bus to them and I didn't think she would like that. So yeah my hands are a little full Callie but if you and Arizona would just agree on something we wouldn't be having this problem would we be?!" He stormed off.
" Mark..." I said
" he's right." Callie said
" Callie don't, we've all been through those times. I have with meredith and Jackson has with April. We all do its healthy to argue."
" I'm not sure."
" how about this mer and I were thinking about Kiddie Tots for the kindergarten I can talk to them about Sofia or give you their number."
" thank you Derek."
" no problem"
Cristina ran past us.
" Yang slow down." I said giggling.
" DEREK! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU ALL OVER!"
" I've been here."
She grabbed my arm and tugged me along.
" cristina where are we going?"
" MEREDITH! ITS MEREDITH SHES GOING INTO LABOR."
I started to run on my own Callie close behind. I got there just in time before the moved her into the laboring room.
" mer I'm here."
" Derek thank god."
" we're having another kid this is it."
" the baby's coming derek."
I saw Jackson run right past us.
" Jackson what's going on?" I asked
" April's water broke the baby is coming! Mer what's wrong?"
" congrats!" I yelled.
" I'm going into labor too tell April!" Meredith said
" congrats guys see you after.
Once the two were done giving birth they put each other in the same room.
" mer look who's here." I said holding our new born baby.
" heyyyyy !" April said
" how are you feeling?" Mer asked
" sore you?"
" yeah same but once you push two out you kinda get used to it."
" yeah I bet." She giggled
Jackson and I picked up our kids and brought them close to meet each other.
" congrats on your baby boy." I said
" congrats on your baby girl." He said " what did you name her?"
" Olivia May." I said looking down at my daughter.
" that's beautiful you guys!" April said
" thanks what about you guys what did you name your boy?" Mer asked.
" Charles Christopher."
" very cute." I said
Mer tried to sit up.
" meredith... Come on take it easy for a couple of days." I said.
" can you just move the bed so I'm sitting up a little."
" sure."
I gave her the baby and sat her up.
Karev and Wilson came in.
" awwwww they are so cute!" Jo said.
" congrats man I'm happy for you."
Alex said giving me a handshake and a hug.
" Awww April he's so cute!"
" thank you Wilson."
" good job Mer "
" thanks Alex " she giggled
" what did you name her?"
" Olivia May"
" I like that name."
" we do too."
" Karev go ahead hold her." I said
He held her.
When everyone was in the room we had a question for everybody.
" since we can't pick out who we would want to take care of our children if we both go since we love you all..." She started to cry.
" mer... She wants to ask if you would all watch over our children. We understand if your don't want to because three is a handful believe me I know."
" I think I can speak for all of us... Yes of course we will watch over them we love Zola, bailey, and Olivia."
We said thanks as we all agreed to watch over each others kids.
Everyone started to leave as the clock strikes 11.
" derek I think you should take Zola and bailey home."
" yeah I should alright well I'll see you in the morning."
I gave a kiss to m daughter " goodnight Olivia I love you." I turned to my wife and gave her a kiss " I love you ."
" I love you too."
We went home and I had no problem putting the kids to sleep yet were so tired. So was I but I sat up for an hour watching the news and then went to bed.
