"DEREK STOP!" Addison yelled. Derek turned around and glared at Addison. They all ran to Owen who was bleeding from his head. Derek was starting to slur his words.
" OH NO WHO ARE YOU TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO! YOU CHEATED ON ME. YOU BENT OVER OUR BED FOR MY BEST FRIEND... WHY? MAYBE BECAUSE YOU'RE A SLUT! DO YOU BEND OVER FOR YOUR HUSBAND OR IS THAT WHAT YOU DO FOR MARK! GOD ADDISON YOU HAD ME BUT YOU LOST ME SO NOW YOU CAN'T WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND THE FACT THAT IM GONE. IM NOT YOURS ADDISON GET OVER IT!" Everyone was staring at them.
" Derek...."
" GOD MEREDITH WHAT!"
" just put down the beer."
" EXCUSE ME! YOU BITCH YOU DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO! TELL ME MEREDITH DID YOU BEND OVER OUR BED FOR MARK TOO?!"
" DEREK!" I yelled through my teeth.
" TELL ME DID THE WOMEN I LEFT MY WIFE FOR DO THE SAME THING?!"
" you know that's not true, you know I didn't. Just put down the beer. I think you've had enough." At this point everyone was surrounding me watching Derek's every move.
" FIND YOU WANT THE BEER HERE!" The bottle came flying at me but I couldn't move. I felt it hit me and then pain. Shooting pain. I dropped to the floor. Everyone ran over to me. Addison was stopped by Derek.
" OH NO IM NOT DONE WITH YOU." He pushed Addison hard on the couch.
" Karev, Avery get Addison away from Derek." Owen said checking me out.
They came back with Addison and sat her down next to me along with Owen.
" SO THEY HAVE A FEW SCRATCHES BIG WHOOP! MEREDITH YOU STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED MY QUESTION!"
" what Derek?"
" DID YOU SLEEP WITH MARK? DID YOU BANG HIM LAST WEEK WHEN YOU SUPPOSEDLY WERE AT THE HOSPITAL. SAVING LIVES OR HAVING ORGASMS?!"
" DEREK STOP! BEFORE YOU RUIN THIS MARRIAGE! YOU KNOW WHERE I AM ALWAYS BECAUSE I TELL YOU AND YOU TELL ME! SO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND LOOK AROUND SEE THE PEOPLE YOU HURT!"
" EXCUSE ME WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!" He came charging at me. Owen, Jackson and Alex grabbed him.
" THATS IT TAKE A WALK SHEPHERD!" They opened up the bedroom door.
" THIS IS MY HOUSE!"
" TAKE A WALK!" Owen said slamming the door.
" I'm gonna call 911." April said.
The ambulance showed up and took us to the hospital. When we got there Richard, Bailey, Jo, Callie and Arizona were waiting for us. They all looked heart broken. They put us in beds next to each other.
" who did this?" Callie asked. They all looked at me.
" Derek."
" wait what do you mean Derek?"
" he was drunk." Owen said
" I'm sorry this is all my fault! I should have told you guys to leave so you didn't get injured. I'm so sorry!" I started to cry.
" Meredith this isn't your fault!" Alex said
" absolutely not you can not blame yourself for this!" Jackson said.
" I'm glad we were all there cause it would have happened if we weren't." Owen said.
" it's okay Meredith everyone is okay." April said
" we're just worried about you." Addison added.
" why.. Why are you worried about me?"
" Meredith your leg. Why do you think we didn't let you walk to the stretcher."
Alex said.
I looked at my leg to see it all bruised and twisted. I had torn my ACL.
' how did I not feel that.' I thought.
They took us in for scans and they were right. I was the worst. Then I remembered. I had fallen once he threw that beer bottle at me I must've not caught myself the right way. I was the only one in a hospital bed. They must've discharged everyone else.
" Meredith we need to do surgery there's no way it will heal on its own." Callie said.
" I know."
" alright well let's get going then."

The Next Morning:
DEREK POV:

I woke up with a pounding headache. I looked over to see Meredith not in bed with me. I went into the kids room and they weren't there. Walked into the living room to see blood on the wall and floor with beer bottles lying around broken and unbroken.
" what happened here?"
I looked around. I got dressed and headed to work.
" Dr. shepherd?" An intern asked.
" yes?"
" what are you doing here?"
" I work here Edwards."
" I know but I thought you would have been with your wife."
" my what? Meredith is here?!"
" yeah she came in last night with a torn ACL."
" oh god!" I ran to her room.
They were all facing Meredith.
" Meredith..."

MEREDITH POV:

I knew that voice anywhere. Everyone turned to look at Derek.
" oh my god." Is all he could get out. Jackson, Owen, and Alex grabbed him.
" what are you doing that's my wife!" Derek cried.
" Get out of here Derek!" Owen yelled at him and they threw him out of the room.
" what are you talking about?"
" oh and you're fired shepherd."
" you can't do this I was drunk! HUNT!"
" I don't care Shepherd take a walk!"
" what's going on!"
" Derek you hurt your wife! You hurt Owen and top it all off you hurt Addison! What do you think happened last night?" Jackson yelled getting in his face.
" Jackson... You have to understand..." His eyes were teary.
" he doesn't have to understand anything. Go home Derek you shouldn't be here." Mark said as Derek spun around.
" what? When did you get here?"
" last night, I had two beers with you and then I stopped and you were plastered since you started before me. Leave her alone Derek. Walk away."
" I'm not walking away from my wife."
" you have to. Go. Go now." Mark said shutting the door when he was in the hall.
What was I supposed to do now. Divorce the man I love? Or stay with him letting everybody think not only he's an alcoholic but an abuser?
