Why so mad?

Karev walked in. I turned towards him.
" do you know what is going on?"
" dude, how much time do you got."
" what do you mean?"
" dude first of all you announced your sexual activities to a whole OR, and the whole thing with Addison."
" Addison .... Right damn it thanks Karev."
I walked out and found a nurse.
" page Meredith Grey for me please."
She came. " what derek."
" Meredith what is wrong."
" nothing derek can I get to work now?"
" no. Mer come here." I pulled her into a stairwell.
" what."
" what the hell is going on with you meredith. You were fine the other day and now you aren't. What happened. I'm your husband tell me."
" nothing I'm fine derek."
" we promised we wouldn't run. That we would love each other even when we hate each other. That if you got Alzheimer's I would remind you everyday who I was."
She stopped dead in her tracks.
" now tell me what is going on."

I nudged her a little playfully.
" okay, the whole Addison thing hit me hard for some reason this morning and I know that you would never go back to her and it was her fault but I don't know it's been on my mind all morning. " she was staring at the floor. I lifted her head up so her eyes met mine and I smiled.
" why didn't you tell me before? Why didn't you come to me."
" I don't know."
" Meredith I love you and I don't care about Addison not one bit I care about you and what's going on with you. You need to tell me these things mer I love you and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make you happy. I love you Meredith."
She smiled " I love you too derek."
We hugged it out.
" you wanna go home?" I asked.
" no I think I'm just gonna work but during our lunch can we go visit the kids."
" yeah of course."

When lunch came we went and sat with the kids until we had to get back to work.

" I'll see you later." I said giving her a kiss.

" okay ."
