Moms house part 3

After we all said our hellos we sat around.
" so meredith how's it going?" Nancy asked " you're not that slutty little intern still right?" She giggled
"NANCY WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled.
" oh come on."
" it's fine no I'm an attending." Mer said.
" so derek how's Addison."
" I really don't like you." I said groaning.
" oh you love me."
" umm we haven't talked to Addison in a while." Mer said
" whys that."
" Nancy." I said
" I'm just asking derek stop being a grumpy pants."
" where's the husband nanc?"
" excuse me?"
" the husband. Where's nick?"
She cleared her throat.
" I believe we were talking about addison, derek."
" not anymore." I was getting mad.
" just someone start a new topic." Amy said.
" Amy!" Nancy yelled.
" it's Amelia."
" how's work Amy."
" it's fine nanc."
" that's good. Got a boyfriend?"
" new topic nanc."
" why?"
" NANCY STOP TALKING! YOU ARENT THE PSYCHIATRIST KATHY IS!" I yelled.
" Alright well I think that's enough family bonding for today...." My mom said.
" see this is why we don't come visit much because every time we get bugged with a million questions. I don't know what we were thinking when I said we'd stay till Wednesday night."
I got up and went to my room. Meredith followed.
" Derek..."
" I'm sorry it's just *sighing* they can be a lot sometimes."
" yeah well they're your family and you need them. You taught me that. If you hadn't who knows what would've happened between me and Lexie."
I smiled.
" come here." I said
I pulled her on the bed so she was right next to me.
" I love you meredith."
" I love you too Derek."
At dinner we went down to eat.
" Ahhh look who's here."
" Nancy I'm only here once in a while so can you just make it a nice visit and just stop."
" I guess."
" thank you."
We ate dinner. During dessert Bailey was scooping his ice cream and dumping it on the table.
" Bailey stop it!" I said but he didn't.
" BAILEY STOP NOW!" I yelled. But he still kept going.
We had set up a play pen in the kitchen for Olivia but I had an idea. I took her and her toys out and I put her in merediths lap.
" come here you think you can push my buttons well here you go." I said picking him up and putting him in the play pen. Zola started laughing.
" keep laughing and you'll go in there with him." I said
" woah derek take it easy." Kathleen said
" Kathleen don't start with me please."
At the end of the night I decided that we would leave in the morning instead of after dinner. When we woke up we packed our bags and said our goodbyes.
" it was nice seeing my son you know." My mom said.
" I know mom we'll talk soon love you."
" it was nice seeing my favorite brother." Liz said.
" thanks Lizzie I really appreciate everything. I love you. "
" love you too call when you get home."
" I will."
" well I guess this is goodbye." Kathleen said.
" yeah I guess it is. Bye sis love you."
" love you too bro."
Then came nancy.
" oh derek! I'm gonna miss you and the slutty intern and of course addison."
" I really don't like you."
" but you love me."
" goodbye nancy."
" goodbye derek."
We headed out the door and started on the road back home.
