" Richard what did you want to talk about?" I asked. He was the interim chief until Hunt was ready.
" Meredith, how's Amelia?"
" good someone said she may be going home tomorrow."
" that's fantastic. Now how long do you and Derek want to be out for?"
" I don't know if I'm going to take time off yet. Derek I know definitely is because his mom and sisters are heading home tonight."
" okay so once you find out what's going on give me an answer okay? No rush."
" thank you." I walked out and found Derek.
" Look who's back!" Amelia chirped.

" good. Derek can I speak with you?"
He got up and gave me a kiss.
" what's up? What did Richard have to say?"
" are you taking time off to be with your sister?"
" I was planning to."
" okay for how long?"
" a week or two. Whatever she needs. Are you?"
" I don't know. I would like to but I have to see what she needs."
" yeah definitely see what she says but umm if she doesn't say anything you don't have to take off."
" okay but if you need me I'll be there."
" I know. Thank you. I love you."

DEREK POV:

I can't believe that this has been happening. I can't tell if my sister is lying so she can go home or if she is actually okay. Mer and I walked into her room.
" hey, so when you get out of here you're coming to our house for a while until you're back on your feet. I'm gonna take off a week or two and Meredith is gonna take a day here and there. We need to know if you're a hundred percent okay to go home." I said
" I'm okay Derek I don't know if I'm a hundred percent but they're running tests soon. I appreciate everything. I'm going to be okay."
" I know you are. You're a fighter."
" I'm gonna go I need to talk to your mom about her flight out."
" she's running again!" Amelia chirped
" no stop. She's not running. She'll never run." I smiled.
" neither will you?" Amelia asked.
" neither will I."
" hey look who's awake!" Addison and Mark walked in.
" perfect timing. I'm gonna go talk to Meredith about something." I said. Mark stopped me.
" you go get her tiger." Mark said
" what are you talking about?"
" s-e-x." He mouthed. I laughed and walked away.
" take your time!" Mark yelled. I shook my head and kept walking.
" Mer wait up!" I yelled.
" what, what are you doing?" She asked
" I'm spending time with my wife."
" we have been all day."
" not alone." I said pulling her into an on- call room.
" ohhh." She giggled and she started to take off my pants. I took off my shirt and her pants. She took of her shirt. I pushed her up against the door and kissed her hard. I too off her bra and panties as she took off my boxers.

MEREDITH POV:

THANK GOD! I've been wanting this for so long and now we are finally doing it. We were both completely naked. He was sucking on my neck which was making me moan. I needed to find Derek and Meredith in order to discharge Amelia. I walked past the room and heard something. I stopped and listened.

" what?" Alex came running.

"I think they're done." Alex giggled.
I sighed and walked away.

DEREK POV:

" I love you Meredith."

" I think we better get up."
" and face the world? I bet they all heard us."

We both got up and got dressed. We walked back to Amelia's room. Mark pulled me over.
" high five man!" He giggled.
" for?" I asked
" the landing." He winked. I laughed.
" don't mention it Meredith won't think it's funny."
" I won't."

MEREDITH POV:

Alex started to giggle as he walked past me.
" what's going on?" I asked
" nothing." Alex said
" tell me."
" you guys were just loud."
" oh my god you heard us?!"
" we all did. It's okay you go girl!"
I walked away.

DEREK POV:

" DEREK!" I turned around and Meredith was walking over.
" oooohhh she looks mad!" Amelia giggled.
" yeah she does." I stood up
" what did you do?"
" nothing." I met her out in the hall.
" what wrong?" I asked reaching for her hand. She pulled away.
" come with me." She went into an on-call room.

" they heard us!"
I giggled a little.
" it's not funny Derek!" She yelled.
" Meredith come on. We used to sneak around so we're doing it again. It's not that big of a deal. How do they think we got Bailey and Olivia?"
" it's just.."
" I know but they're our friends. They know that we have sex. I love you I'm not gonna tame myself because of work."
I got a laugh out of her.
" I love you too." She said.
We walked out and went to Amelia's room where there was a bag on her bed.
" what's going on?" I asked
" I'm going home." She said
" you passed?!"
" I passed!"
