Can we handle another one?

I woke up and heard someone puking in the bathroom. I ran in to see it was Meredith. I looked at her.
" I'm late." Was all she had to say.
Amelia walked up.
" what did you do knock her up again?" She joked. I just looked at her.
" no no no no you guys just had a kid two years ago. Are you going to be able to handle another?" She asked
" Gonna have to if I am pregnant." Mer said and got up.
" I'll call addison." I said.
I dialed her number.
" hello?"
" hey it's me. Do you have an opening today?"
" yeah for who?"
" Meredith and I."
" yeah I have one at 8 this morning. I'll meet you at the hospital?"
" yeah thanks." I hung up.
" what did she say?" Mer asked holding two Olivia and Bailey and Zola following behind.
" we see her at 8."
" okay good."
We all got dressed and headed to work. Amelia had a check up today so Owen was coming to pick her up.
" we'll see you later. Rest up." I said.
We got to the hospital and we met Addison.
" you know the drill." Addison said.
Meredith lied down.
" okay so let's take a look... Well you are indeed pregnant. About two months. I'll leave you guys alone. Congrats."
" Derek can we actually have another baby? Are we ready?"
" ready or not they're coming."
She got dressed and we went to work.

MEREDITH POV:

Pregnant. Oh god. Can we do this? I called Cristina.
" hey mer! How's it going?"
" how fast can you fly over here?"
" oh my god something with Amelia?"
" oh no. No she's fine. I think I might be pregnant."
" Mer! Congrats!"
" is it though?"
" what do you mean?"
" can me and Derek handle four kids?"
" if you wanted to. Do you want to?"
" it's just been a lot and everything."
" I know but the deciding factor is whether or not you two are done with the running."
" you're right. Thanks Cristina."
" anytime. Bye Mer love you."
" love you too." I hung up an found a nurse.
" page Dr. Shepherd for me please." I said. After about two minutes he came.
" what's going on Meredith?"
I pulled him into an on-call room.
" Ohhh pregnancy hormones."
" put it back in your pants Shepherd we don't need twins."
" Mer you know that's not how that works."
" you get my point."
" so what's going on?"
" are we done running?"
" what?"
" are you done running? Because I am. If I'm gonna have this baby I need to know that you and me. This is it. Forever. No more running."
" mer, I'm done running. I love you and I want this baby. No more running. We can do this. You and me. Okay?"
" okay."
" come here." He said and I went in for the hug.
" I love you." He said
" I love you too." Then he got a page.
" I gotta go I'll see you later."
" Yepp." He kissed me and walked out. I got paged too. I walked into the room to see Amelia laying down.
" hey what's going on?" I asked
" check up. I didn't want Derek here so I paged you."
" okay... But why are you in OB?"
Alex walked in.
" alright Amelia let's take a look, hey mer."
" hi. Is addison here?"
" yeah she's outside she'll be in in a moment."
I walked out.
" Addie?"
" grey?"
" Amelia is in there."
" I know I paged you."
" is she...?"
" is she what Grey?"
" pregnant?"
" I don't know yet lets go take a look."
We walked back in.
" Amelia did you see your other doctor?" I asked
" yeah he said I was healthy and ready to go."
" good."
" well, Amelia you are definitely pregnant."
" really?!" We both asked.
" yes. Congrats momma." Alex said.
I got up and looked at the monitor with Addison.
" is that?" I asked
" yes it is."
" do we tell her?"
" no."
" addison..."
" no grey."
" she lives in my house!"
" I don't care. Don't say anything!"
" what's wrong?" Amelia asked
" nothing. Just looking at the peanut of a baby."
" oh okay thanks Addie."
" no problem."
We both walked out.
" we need to tell Derek." She said. Alex walked out.
" tell Derek what?" He asked
" she's having twins." Addie said
" so what's so bad about that?"
" they're conjoined." I said.
" so when are we gonna tell Derek?" Alex asked.
" tell me what?" He asked walking up from behind us. We spun around.
" tell me what?" He asked again.
I looked at Addison and she looked at me.
" derek we need to talk to you... In private." Addison said and Mark walked up."
" ooohhh I love secrets tell me tell me tell me."
" Mark we really need to talk to Derek" I said
" he can hear too it's okay."
" Derek, Amelia is pregnant." Addie said
" what do you mean she's pregnant?! She's only been dating Owen for what..."
" a year." I said
" not helping!"
" sorry."
" so what's next?"
" well there's a problem with her pregnancy." She continued
" what's wrong?"
" she's having twins."
" what's so bad about that. I don't get it."
" they're conjoined." I said
Derek eyes filled with tears.
" I have to see her. Let me see my sister." He said.
" Derek she needs her brother right now. She doesn't know what's going on. She doesn't even know she's having twins. She thinks there's one baby in there and no problems. So when you go in there be normal. Okay? Can you do that?" I asked
" because if you can't then don't even bother going in." Addison said
" I can't keep this from my sister.." He said
" well then turn around and walk the other way Derek." She said
" why can't she know? And what about Owen?"
" because she's happy right now Derek do you really want to ruin that?!"
" just tell her. She's needs to know."
" we'll think about it." I said and Addison glared at me.
Derek walked away.
" Mark, can you keep an eye on him?" I asked
" yeah I'm on it."
" what are we going to do?" I asked
" we gotta go find Owen."
" he's in surgery."
" well lets go to the OR."
