Going home

Meredith had taken the day off of work so I could go home today. Everyone came in the board also.
" Derek Shepherd age. 34 gun shot wound to the chest with other internal injuries. Rest in the hospital for a month was suggested. After a month of evaluation he is being discharged." Wilson said as everyone clapped.
" Wilson you're my new favorite resident." Everyone laughed.
" derek you are completely fine everything is healed so you can do you know um... Other activities." Cristina said looking at mer and I.
After I was discharged we went home. While mer was putting the kids to bed I layed on the bed. She ran and jumped so she was lying next to me. I cuddled her.
" I love you" I whispered
" I love you too." She kept looking at me.
" what?"
" you wanna?"
" yeah!!"
"You sure?"
" mer you heard her I'm all good to go."
I climbed on top of her and we kissed. I took off her shirt and pants as she did the same to me. I took off her bra and panties and we kissed more. I made a path of kisses from her lips to her inner thighs and she began to moan.
" Derek! Don't stop!"
I put a finger in her and moved around. Once she was used to me I inserted another.
" Derek God!"
" come baby come on."
She came all over me and herself. I cleaned us both up and then she climbed on top of me. She made her way down to my hard erection and put her mouth around it. I held her hair as she bobbed up and down.
" meredith I'm gonna.."
Was all I could get out before I came all over her. I turned her over and pounded myself inside of her until she moaned. I had to hold her head so she wouldn't smack her head on the headboard. We came all over each other and collapsed. We fell asleep that way.
The next morning I heard meredith puking so I ran to the bathroom.
" you okay?" I asked holding her hair back.
" I don't know."
" you wanna call into work?"
" no I think I'm good now."
" okay I'll get the kids ready."
I turned to go get the kids when I saw Zola standing there.
" Zola what are you doing?"
" I heard mommy getting sick and I came to see."
" that's sweet zo but let's go get you and bailey ready and eat breakfast."
I shut the door to give mer some privacy. When she came out she sat down on the couch and got her shoes in.
" want breakfast?"
" no I'm just gonna grab a banana at work."
" okay."

At work Merediths POV:

I had to find cristina before I threw up again.
" page dr. Yang" I told a nurse trying not to puke. I couldn't hold it in I ran to a trash can and threw up in it.
" mer are you okay?" It was cristina.
I pulled her into an on call room.
" what mer what's going on?"
" I've been throwing up all morning?"
" you're pregnant?"
" I don't know I can't be."
" why when's the last time you had sex with derek."
" last night."
" wow I say he is healthy and you actually go and have sex with him."
" it's been a while."
" mer you need to take a pregnancy test."
" but.."
" mer..."
" fine."
I went on with my day. I puked two more times before it stopped.

Derek's POV:

I didn't want to leave meredith like that but she said she would page me if she needed me. I haven't heard from her so I told Lexie to go talk to her.
" what do you want me to say to her."
" just ask her how's she's feeling."
" Derek maybe you should..."
" I have a surgery Lexie she's your sister."
" fine I will waddle down there."
" you won't be waddling for long. How far is it now."
" 40 weeks."
" any minute now." I started to walk away
" oh derek!"
" yeah" I went back towards her
" I need an opinion."
" about?"
" Mark wants the best for our baby."
" yeah I get that."
" he wants to bring Addi to deliver my baby."
" well she's one of the best lex."
" yeah I know but."
" Lexie he knows what he's doing he did it for Sofia."
" I know and I'll go talk to mer."
" thank you Lexie."
I got ready for my surgery. Mark was in the same surgery I was.
" so Mark"
" so derek."
" 2 weeks to go huh."
" mmhmm"
" got everything ready?"
" yes.... "
" that's good"
" What's going on Derek."
" alright straight to the point right?"
" yeah always"
" do you really think Addi should be comin back?"
" Derek she's..."
" yes I know double board certified neo natal surgeon the best I know I was married to her."
" I need her here derek."
" okay it's your call."
After my surgery I went to find meredith but she was in surgery so I left her alone. I decided that I would go talk to Karev for a little before my last surgery of the day.
" Karev just the man I wanted to see."
" what's going on shepherd?"
" nothing how's everything with you?"
" good mer?"
" good was sick this morning."
" sick?"
" vomiting."
" what you guys did the Mcnasty last night and now she's pregnant with another Mcbaby?" He said giggling.
I went pale. Could it be? Meredith pregnant again? Why wouldn't she tell me? Maybe she hasn't thought of it? Maybe she hasn't taken the test yet?
" shepherd I was kidding"
" yeah.... Right... Anyway how are things with Jo?"
" good I'm gonna talk to her about the road ahead of us at dinner."
" yeah you should both agree on that before anything else."
" you really think mer's pregnant?"
" I don't know but I guess I'll know when she tells me."
" good luck man."
" thanks."
I went downstairs and got ready for surgery. Meredith walked in halfway through.
" hey I'm gonna pick up the kids and then head home. Any preferences for dinner?"
" no whatever you make is fine. How are you feeling?"
" fine it stopped this morning so I was fine all afternoon."
The only other attending was Jackson.
" okay maybe you should go to the doctor just in case."
" yeah maybe okay I'll see you at home."
" yep."
" love you."
" love you too."
" sick?" Jackson asked
" leave it alone Avery."
" that's a weird code word."
" Avery I said leave it alone."
" come on Derek just tell me."
" fine, we had sex last night and she was throwing up this morning."
" interesting so mer's pregnant."
" I don't know and keep your mouth shut."
" no problem."
" how's April?"
" she's good."
" that's good."
We finished the surgery and I headed home.
" mer?" I said walking in.
" in the bathroom."
" where are the kids?"
"Sleeping."
I walked into the bathroom and she was standing with a pregnancy test.
" what does it say?" I asked
" look for yourself."
It had a plus sign saying she was pregnant.
" you're pregnant?"
" I am"
We both had smiles on our faces.
" we are gonna have another baby?"
" we are gonna have another baby"
