" Derek! Dinner!" My mom was yelling from the bottom of the stairs.

" wow you are starting to sound real grown up and parental." My mom said.
" yeah well with three kids you do." Bailey was playing with his fork and knife.
" Bailey I just told your sister to stop." He put it down and kept eating.
" Derek relax there at grandmas it's okay to have fun."
" no ma they can't be playing with their food and not listening to me just because it's grandmas."

" yes Zola?"
" can I be excused?"
" did you eat?"
" yes." She said showing me her clean plate.
" good girl yes you can go."
She came over and gave me a hug. "love you daddy."

" can I go?" Bailey asked.
I looked at his broccoli still on his plate. This kid hated his greens.
" no Zola finished her food even her vegetables so she got to leave. Finish the broccoli and you can go too." I rubbed his head and he laughed.
The door opened.
" HIII!" Amy yelled putting her bags down.
" hi sweet heart how are you!" My mom said getting up. Bailey tried to slide out of his chair.
" Bailey get back in that chair and finish your dinner."
He moaned.
" hi hon!" I gave my wife a hug and a kiss.
" hi how's the kids?"
" handful." We both laughed.
" I'm gonna put the stuff in the room how you feeling?"
" still a little gross. I'll be better in the morning."
" well Hunt wouldn't give us off until the weekend so we have to go back Thursday and Friday."
" okay so we stay until dinner Wednesday."
" okay." After dinner we watched Untold Stories of the ER. The kids were interested. When it came to 11 they had to get to bed.
" come on kids go brush your teeth and get in bed." Mer told them. I grabbed Olivia who was staring half asleep at the tv with her binky.
" come on Olivia time to get you to sleep." I put her in the crib and checked up on the little ones.
" daddy?" Zo called.

" how long are we staying at grandmas?"
" till Wednesday night."
" can we stay later?"
" you have to talk to mom in the morning." I said goodnight and headed to the bedroom.
" you won't believe what Zola just asked me." I said laying next to mer.

" she wants to stay with my mom for the rest of the week."
" yeah except we don't know if your mom has time."
" my mom always has time."
" so you or I will talk to her in the morning."
The door opened.
" SIBLING SLEEP OVER?!" Amy yelled.
" Amy get out!"
