The New Roommate

It's been 2 weeks since Callie moved in. Everything was fine but every once in a while Callie would cry over the phone call with Arizona, but not this morning.
" good morning you guys!" She said as we walked down in our pjs.
" good morning" i grumbled.
" ummm coffee is on the table and a few messages from this morning. I gave the kids their baths and breakfast and now they are just watching some cartoons."
"Thank you." Mer said sitting down with her cup of coffee.
I grabbed mine and sat next to Mer " messages?" I asked.
" Ahhh yes one is for Derek from Richard asking about budgets and such, the other is for Mer from cristina and the third is from Hunt to everybody about today's meeting."
" okay I'll call cristina." Mer said
" ugh I don't think that's a good idea"
" why?"
" she was crying over the message something about a fight and Hunt."
" oh god not again."
" go give her a call." I said
" what's that about?"
" cristina has called every day since her and Hunt got back together but she calls and cries over the phone when Hunt makes her mad."
" Ahhh she wants Mer to know everything."
" mmhmm."
" Interesting."
" zo, Bailey go get ready we gotta get going soon you too Sofia."
They all got up and went upstairs to their rooms.
" listen I'm gonna be late today so if I drop them off can you pick them up?"
" yeah I think Mer might be coming home early."
" why?"
" she's been having pain still so we are going to the OB to check everything out."
" I thought that was just sleep deprivation."
" mmhmm"
I walked up to the bedroom where Mer was sitting on the couch.
" what's going on?"
" Cristina said Owen might be bringing Teddy back."
" I liked teddy."
" yeah I know but she thinks he's gonna give her Cristina's job."
" he can't do that."
" he's the chief." I knew she was worried about her job.
" your fine I promise. Come on let's go."
We headed to the hospital an Mer stopped to talk to Cristina. I ran into Jackson in the hall.
" hi Avery."
" shepherd. How are you ?"
" good tired."
" me too. I've got surgery see you at your house?"
" yeah."
" hunt." I Said sitting in his office.
" what's up shepherd?"
" I heard Teddy is coming back."
" she is."
" are you giving her Cristina's job?"
" what no! Where did you hear that?"
" your wife."
" mmhmm."
" I'd talk to her."
" right I will."
" mmhhmm"
At the end of the surgery I had went home to meet meredith and Callie sitting on the floor with jackson and April.
" what's everybody doing on the floor?" I asked
" playing with the kids Derek come here." April said. I sat down next to meredith and gave her a kiss.
" thanks again you guys for letting us join this." Jackson said
" no problem." Mer said
" I guess we better get going. Bye guys." April said and yelling up the stairs said goodbye to Callie.
" I'm gonna put the kids to sleep."
" want help?" Mer asked
" if you want to"
" I'll grab Zola."
" where is she?"
" in the laundry room."
" ahh."
We put the kids to bed and sat with Callie for a little then headed to bed.
