What the hell just happened?!

We all looked at the monitor as the vitals dropped. Blood pressure, heart beat, everything.
" WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" I yelled
" WILSON!" Owen yelled
You could tell she was about to vomit.
" I didn't touch anything." She said
" EVERYBODY HANDS UP!" I yelled. Cardio came in and ran to her and started to work. We let them work. I grabbed the paddles.
" CHARGE TO 300 CLEAR!" Nothing.
" CHARGE TO 400 CLEAR!" Still nothing. Everybody's hearts dropped and tears filled the room.
" Mer...." Owen said
" No! CHARGE TO 500 CLEAR!" Still nothing.
I started to walk away and but the i elbowed her in the chest and her heart beat came back.
" fix the problems and get her into the ICU. I have to go inform the family."
I walked over to Derek. He stood up.
" just tell me." He said
" she's alive. Her surgery is done they are bringing her to the ICU. She did crash on us twice but we got her back."
He sat down and started to cry.
" Derek... She's okay. She's alive. We saved her. You can go see her soon. Just let her rest. I'm gonna go see her now."
" I'm coming with."
" derek stay with your sisters."
" I'm coming to see my mom."
" fine. You'll be okay here alone?" I asked the girls
" yeah we'll be fine." Nancy said.
" if he's going I'm coming." Amelia said
" fine."
I led them to her room. After a few minutes I walked in.
" alright guys why don't we just let her get her rest."
" no I want to stay." Amelia said
" she's right amy. She needs rest. Cmon." Derek said
"Is there anything I should do?" I asked
" no there is nothing to do right now. We just have to wait." Derek said walking away. Then alex came out of the room.
" Mer come in here." Alex said
I walked in.
" mom. How we feeling?"
" not that great.... But better. Did we fix the problem?"
" yes ma, we did."
" the kids?"
" they were nervous but hopefully you'll get out of here soon enough."
" I hope so. I wanna go home."
" do you remember what you were doing before you hurt yourself?"
" I was cleaning out the basement. I do it every year."
" why didn't you ask the girls?"
" usually Derek helps but this year he didn't get to it."
I turned around and saw Derek standing out in the hall talking to the nurses.
" what do you mean?"
" it's okay I mean I get it. He has you, the kids, work...." I walked out.
" Derek..."
" she told you."
" why haven't you gone home?"
" I don't know. I think some part of me didn't want to."
" why?"
" questions would fly. I don't need that right now."
" What questions?"
" about Addison."
" you haven't been home since Addison! Where do you go when you are supposedly visiting home?!" I yelled through my teeth.
" hotel. Listen they just discharged her. I'm getting her to the airport than coming back."
" Derek..."
" we'll talk later."
I rolled my eyes and walked away.
