What does this mean?

I woke up the next morning in the same position last night. My pager went off.
" mmmm" Mer groaned as I climbed over her to get dressed.
" Derek?"
" yes?"
" what does this mean?"
" I don't know." I said and I walked out.
" Edwards run it." I said walking in.
" 36 year old male head wound."
" that's it?"
" that's all we know."
" get him into the OR we need to do a craniotomy."
I passed by Amelia.
" hey look who's up and smiley." She said
" what?"
" you seem happy."
" I'm okay." I started to walk away.
" hey derek?"
" yeah?"
" your fly is down."
I looked down. She was right. I zipped it up.
" thank you."
" hope you and happy have a nice day!"
I just stared at her. After the surgery I went to the stairwell to meet Mark. Then Mer came in.
" Umm Mark I'll talk to you later."
" you sure?"
" yeah. I'm good".
" you paged?" Mer asked.
I took her to an on- call room and locked the doors. She looked at me confused.
" take off your clothes."
" derek..."
" we're still on pause now take your clothes off."
We both undressed. I pushed her hard up against the door. She wrapped her legs around my waist and I slammed into her.
" GOD DEREK!"
I kept thrusting harder and harder each time.

JO POV:

I needed a consult from Derek so I went to find him. I passed an on- call room.
" again!"
" what?" Alex asked
I pointed towards the door.
" GOD YES RIGHT THERE!"
" YES MEREDITH!"
" dude just walk away. They're back together it's a good thing."
" we'll see."

DEREK POV:

We both came and then we got dressed.
" Meredith what does this mean?"
" I had panties, red do you see them?"
" Mer it's okay. What does this mean?"
" I don't know what this means Derek. We are still fighting and you still have that job offer."
" I told them no. I chose you."
" but I don't know if I want you to"
" what?"
" I don't want you to resent me."
I shook my head and left.
" back together?" Mark asked. Alex and Jackson were standing with him.
" just scratching an itch." I said walking away. I grabbed my stuff from Alex's house and left. I didn't know where I was going I just left. Then Amelia called.
" hello?" I answered
" come stay at our house."
" what?"
" I just saw you put your stuff into your car now come to my house."
" thanks amy."
" you're welcome see you in a few."
I drove to her house not knowing what was gonna happen between me and Meredith.
