Shino couldn't sleep, stress built up like a building towering over the rest of the city. Everything seemed to be happening at once, no matter how calm and happy he tired to seem the burden inside just kept growing.
~Shino's POV~
What does this all mean? These new villains roaming the streets, This 'Ghost whisperer' person... why is that so familiar? Did this villain mess with my memories? What did he change? How much did he change? This is all so stressful and confusing, but at least the pro Hero's can help me!...hopefully.. but the worst thing of all... These horrible nightmares! Each night I find myself waking up drenched in my own sweat and tears they kept me awake at night and I was exhausted. Colin seemed to be off as-well, he'd disappear for periods of time and he seemed rather stressed, great to know I'm not the only one. I climbed out of bed and opened my door.
I entered the dark corridor, using my phone flashlight as a guide "Shino?.." I concerned voice filled the air, the voice had a slight sense of tiredness to it. I jumped and flicked the light upwards in the direction of the voice, the figure braced their eye with their hand and looked me in my eyes, their other hand rested against the wall as their eyes adjusted to the sudden light they rested their arm around their waste as if they were crossing their arms but with only their left hand. "Artemis!" I yelled "Ah..sorry if I scared you" he smiled with his usual heart-warming smile. It made me feel happier "You're fine... why are you awake?" I questioned him "I would ask you the same thing if I didn't already know" Artemis mumbled breaking eye-contact "Hm?.." I mumbled out load as Artemis slipped his hand away and walked over to me, rapping his arms around my torso "I'm always here if you ever want to talk, I promise I'll be there for you no matter what happens. I don't want you to face this by yourself..." Artemis comforted me, nuzzling his face into my PJ's as his eyes filled with tears "You're right, I won't keep secrets anymore" I rapped my arms around him back "Do you wanna talk?.." Artemis asked me, glancing up at me "Sure... Do you wanna go upstairs or too one of our rooms?.." I replied "Your rooms closest.. and you'll be comfy!" Artemis replied with a smile.
We sat in my room. I told him everything that had been happening recently, how much stress I've been feeling and how my mental health was decreasing like a water bottle with a whole in the side. Artemis sat next to me on my bed, he looked really hurt by my current situation.
~Artemis POV~
I was lost for words, why didn't he tell me any of this? He looked so... happy... when he was around me, was that just fake? I felt horrible for being ignorant of his feelings. I felt like crying. I jumped forwards, tackling Shino into a tight hug almost throwing both of us off the other end of the bed, Shino luckily braced himself on impact and managed to stable us in the middle of the mattress "Woah!!" Shino yelled adjusting my position slightly to stable our balance "You ok?" Shino finished with a slight laugh "A-Are you?" I asked, not meaning to stutter "I'll be fine.. it'll be sorted...hopefully" Shino looked away "But hey! You could of got hurt by doing that silly!" He told me, fluffing my hair with his hand "N-No! Your silly for not telling me!" I held his hand
~Shino's POV~
He cares, it was kinda cute. He looked at me with an angry but adorable face, tears in his eyes though it was more of a silly anger. I hugged him back and we sat there in a comfortable silence, I felt my eyes become heavy and I slowly realised that I wouldn't be able to fight the feeling of tiredness.
~Artemis's POV~
Shino had feel asleep, not very surprised, he's exhausted. I laid his limb body down and tucked myself under his arms, if he had a problem during the night I would be there right away to help him! I slowly but surely joined Shino and drifted off to sleep.
~Shino's POV~
I had one of the best sleeps I've have in weeks, I woke up rapped in my blankets and a two-toned haired boy's grip. He silently snored into my chest, his glasses slanted on his face My memories of last night slowly but surely began to flood back, Artemis had stayed with me last night. He's so caring, always putting others before himself "Mnmm" Artemis groaned, gripping my shirt "Morning" I laughed as I he lifted his head up. I placed my hand on his cheek, he nuzzled his head lightly into my hand as I ran I ran my hand across his face towards his hair "Are you feeling better?" Artemis smiled, yawning, straightening his glasses and slowly waking up out of his drowsy state "Yeah, I'm feeling much better" as soon as I managed to finish my sentence a rather loud *Ping!* came from my phone causing Artemis to jump, I snickered at his reaction to the sudden noise and reached over for my phone

"Aw, CRAP!" I said, clicking my phone off and abruptly getting up "Wha?" Artemis asked, confused. "We're kinda late for school" I replied "AAAAAAAAARJELKF" Artemis yelled, getting up and practically scrambling upstairs to get his uniform on.
