(Kaiba and Ashara are the 'will take about any substances he can get' and 'my body is a temple' duo u can't change my mind)

The music could still be heard despite the fact they had left the party, the bright party lights reflecting on the back of them as they walked down the sandstone path. Roman holiday truly loved their competition with Kaiba's soiree's, they both found themselves in a weird friendship formed from competitiveness and mischief.

Normally Kaiba found Roman's soiree's to be hectic and rough, not too enjoyable. Especially with the added fact most the party stayed sober due to Roman's frequent habit of mixing tome juice with any drinks served. However, with Oasis finally deciding the tome juice had gone on long enough - xylo was sent to monitor any hosting which Roman holiday would attend, and make sure there was no longer any tome juice incidents.

And now with the added comfort of being able to happily drink the night away without the worry of your body transforming into some weird abomination, and Xylo acting as a makeshift party bouncer, Roman's soiree's became actually enjoyable for a change.

And with Xylo as the designated sober friend, it wasn't a surprise when at 2am into the night Ashara got an alert on his phone - which Kaiba had got him and insisted he were to have - from Xylo.

And that brought Ashara to where he was now. Intruding on a lively party to recover his mindlessly drunk boyfriend from the crowded area before he passed out or embarrassed himself anymore. It wasn't Kaiba's finest moment, hardly able to create a coherent thought as Ashara confidently walked into the party, grabbed him by the arm and walked out without a word to any guests attending.

"Ashara? Why are you here?" Kaiba slurred, stumbling into Ashara as he began to walk him back to the palace. His eyes weakly opened and closed as he blinked, it felt as if he was drifting in and out of consciousness while walking, if Ashara was probably not holding onto him he would be on the floor in minutes.

Ashara sighed, he had quickly learned how Kaiba could get whenever he had the opportunity for a drink. "I've come to collect you, it's time for you to go back to your palace" Ashara explained to him, talking to him casually as if he was not tripping over himself each step.

Kaiba clung onto his shoulder slightly, hands almost caressing the tight muscle found there. "Whyy? I..I was having fun!" Kaiba hiccupped, Ashara guiding Kaiba's arm into a better position for him to continue walking while holding him, his lack of patience told him to just immediately pick Kaiba up and fly the rest of the way however he knew Kaiba wasn't particularly fond of the flying thing.

"You're too drunk my darling, i can't understand why you do this to yourself, nothing about loosing control over yourself to alcohol can sound appealing" Ashara spoke, almost to himself knowing Kaiba was too drunk to fully comprehend what he was talking about, still with his hands holding onto his bicep.

Kaiba let out an obnoxious scoff, throwing his head back in the process. "You never come out with me! Oh Ashara, you're always so serious" he complained, his sluggish movements as he latched to Ashara making it difficult to walk, however Ashara continued practically dragging him along. "Well whenever you go out i normally end up having to come get you in the end." He shrugged

Kaiba probably would have no recollection of this night whatsoever by tomorrow, so Ashara found it acceptable to squeeze in his own attitude as a form of repayment. Kaiba whined, pulling away from Ashara in a huff.

"Well, if you're going to be distasteful to me, i'll go home myself" he pouted, Ashara couldn't help but smile at him with amusement as he folded his arms and began to walk ahead of him. Ashara stud still, allowing him to overtake. "You're going to make it back to your palace alone?" He taunted, taking to note how Kaiba walked with two left feet, as if the ground was unstable beneath him.
