It was a weekend in Monarch academy, most students were out their dorm hanging out or visiting family. However Artemis decided to stay in all weekend, he wasn't antisocial he was just tired, he wanted time just to himself to focus on his designs and catch up on missing sleep and homework. He never thought school would be so tiring.

RikKu was the complete opposite, she had planned the entire weekend out with Shizu and she was ecstatic. RikKu would meet Shizu at 1, go to their dorm and drop her stuff off them go to the movies with Shizu then the shops, after RikKu would sleep over at Shizu's and they'd hand out until she left.
RikKu loved shizu so much, they were her everything. A little ball of such positivity that just made her so excited and nervous.

RikKu wanted to go out to the shops quickly to buy some of Shizu's favourite snacks for them. However she can get quite anxious and didn't want to go alone. Shino stepped up as he knew Artemis was exhausted and wanted to stay in so he got himself ready and got on the bus with RikKu.

Artemis knew they'd be out, but he was still a bit anxious. He didn't tell Shino or RikKu he was anxious but the reality is he's never lived by himself. He was responsible for him self which is something he was used to, but he was also in-charge of the dorm and the safety of RikKu and Shino's stuff with no help or rules or things to do.

That stressed him out, whenever miss Rose stepped out she'd leave him with rules and things to do and instructions. Even then he was never alone, there was always someone, he was just in charge.
Now he wasn't the oldest in the household but still in charge, with no guide or rules

It felt just uncomfortable. He just sat in his bed and bounced his leg listening to the silence of the dorm. He wasn't used to a completely silent house in the morning, he grew up around flocks of kids all his life.

There was a knock at the door that made him jump. Nobody was meant to be coming round, Shino would always answer the door. He sat silent, he wasn't expecting anyone or a package or anything...

He quickly texted Shino "are you expecting anything to be delivered?" And waited for a reply. He ducked under his covers as a typing bubble appeared.
"No, why is someone at the door?" Shino replied

"Yeah, i'm scared" Artemis messaged, not wanting to worry Shino at the same time he wanted Shino to come home. "RikKu's just paying for her stuff, i'll be home in just over 5 minutes<33" Shino sent

Artemis switched his phone off and listened to the still air again as he hid under his covers. Another knock echoed through the dorm as he squeaked. Holding the cover tightly over his head as he waited for the person to go.

Shino was worried, RikKu looked at him confused "what's going on?" She asked him, Shino sighed, chuckling a little "someone's knocked on the door and its scared Arti" Shino replied, RikKu frowned
"I feel bad for him sometimes, he's so anxious" she stuttered.

"You're anxious a lot too" shino teased her as he picked up a plastic bag full of stuff. RikKu jumped "shut up!! I'm not that anxious anymore! Its only around new people" she defended, elbowing Shino in his side as he laughed.

They finally made it to the bus when Shino's phone pinged again, worried it was Artemis he opened it straight away. It was a text from Blake "some weird fucking drunky just knocked on my door handing out anti-quirk leaflets?" He quickly started typing "oh shit, he knocked on our door too, Arti was the only one in the dorm and he didn't answer"
