(So, i kept to the general basis of the idea by Rayna_Lol but i love brypu family oneshots about Atlas's and Inpu's messy relationship. I think they were distant growing up, Atlas being stubborn and very dependent and Inpu being very grief stricken. They both love each other however i think Atlas doesn't understand the ways Inpu cares and protects them.)
With a new generation of campers meant more people at Oasis. Unfortunately you can't be friends with everyone however.
Unfortunately with Atlas it seemed he can't be friends with.. anyone.
The only people Atlas tolerated were his family and a few other people he had met. Obviously there were his dads - him having a clear favourite for the son of Aphrodite, his siblings who he was incredibly close to, there were his aunts and uncles like Momiji, Ricarro, Kaiba, Brinley, Magnus.. and his cousins - Dina and Roja.
But the only people he had ever really had a close bond with was family, maybe in a way thats due to the demi-gods practically all being related to each other in some way, but anyone who he had just met through camp he wasn't particularly close to.
Femi and Lotus had friends, but they had Femi and Lotus's interests too. Atlas knew people, he knew people he disliked, To some extremities. Some people he found annoying but could hold his tongue, other people just begged for an altercation
Fights began to become a recent thing for Atlas. He wouldn't hold back if someone became mouthy about his family or especially his 'nerdy' siblings. And when he realised his parents weren't the best people to go to after a fight as Bryan would become overly worried and he hated to upset him, and Inpu would become anxious then scold him for being reckless.
He often would appear at Kaiba or Ricarro's place after some random fight or argument he got in. Either or depending on severity. If the argument upset him he would go to Ricaro, if he knew he had been either injured or over-reacted in a situation he would go to Kaiba. Ricarro always knew what to say to console him, and Kaiba wouldn't tell Inpu about things if he asked him not to.
But its hard to sneak away if you get busted.
"ATLAS!" Inpu yelled after him, Atlas picking up more speed and slamming the door to his room as he groaned in annoyance and sat on his bed, facing away from the door.
Bryan was out helping Xylo and Brinley meet Aphrodite, Lotus and Femi were out doing camp activities which Atlas said was too boring and had walked off refusing to do them - which then led to him bumping into a few people and causing a fight.
Inpu as camp councillor hearing straight away.
Inpu heard the ricocheting of the door slamming closed around the house, sighing to calm his approach down as he tried to keep a more gentle demeanour. Normally due to Atlas's stubbornness and independence when Inpu would have to tell him off he'd have to do it firmly as Atlas would argue as to why he was right.
