(WE GOT AN MHE ARTEMIS UPDATE MY JAW DROPPED!!!! Unfortunately, they lost contact once Arti moved to France, meaning Shino's now canonically single☹️ however he's probably got a lil crush on a certain blue boyyyy)

(Ngl, it's so sad to watch MHE and see majority of the comments about Artemis. The cinematic is amazing, the plot is intense, theres so much stuff you could say about MHE. But i feel that they were almost pressured into talking about Artemis with the amount of comments, its just sad Devin and Ritchie's hard word goes unnoticed)

Suitcases were backed to the brim with clothes and other necessities. They littered around the now barren room that once was Arti's, it was almost sad. A cycle, he came to Monarch with an empty room and he'd leave the room empty. The only things that remained were the stuff he couldn't pack to bring with him - example being the bed from blake and his sewing machine.

He was definitely sad about the sewing Machine, it was the only Christmas present he had ever been given from the Orphanage, Charities managed to raise enough money for each of the orphans to have gifts as normally only the youngest would receive anything to keep them more entertained, this time they could afford to finally give the oldest teenager there - Artemis - a gift. That was his sewing machine and he cherished it.

But what hurt to leave behind more were his friends. His last day at Monarch felt absolutely miserable, for some reason however none of the teachers acknowledged it was his last day so he didn't bring it up to staff. Maybe Monarch was annoyed about all the effort they invested into Artemis just for him to move countries so the staff were told not to talk to him about it.

It all felt wrong to Shino, for the past weeks he had tried to act like he wouldn't mind to support Arti in his decisions but on their last full day there he had never hugged him tighter. Shino was good at pretending, it was then Arti really realised how much Shino was gonna miss him and they both just hugged each other for the rest of the night.

Each goodbye felt awful. The last day at the cafe, all the stupid memories, like when Shino saw him in his maid dress and was so flustered. He's probably never wear that dress again, it would stay in the back of the cafe collecting dust and waiting for them.

Sure he'd visit, of course during summer holidays he promised he'd fly back and spend as long as he possibly could back at vigilantis.

But the dorm was just going to feel wrong, Rikku had cried about it for days, she even put a banned up on the cafe doors saying "goodbye Arti!!💗" which made him cry. Everything they had gone through in the past few months was now going to be memories

Shino and Arti promised they'd stay together, they'd call each other every single day. The moment something bad happened they promised to talk about it with the other, and if long distance ever stopped being an option they promised each other they'd talk it through.

Arti didn't want to force Shino into a relationship he wasn't happy in, and Shino was worried incase one day Artemis just complained left his life with no explanation and moved on with a way more attractive guy.

But they talked - a lot - reassured each other to the best of their ability it would be ok. It was draining in all honesty, having to prepare yourself for your favourite person in the entire world to only be accessible to you via the internet.

Davis had offered to drive Arti to the airport, as he had a conversation with Shino a few days prior and thought it would make him feel better if Shino got to say goodbye to him at the airport. So Davis brought his Van to the dorms and picked up Shino, RikKu, Shizu and Arti.

Shino got in the passenger seat with Davis and Arti, Shizu and RikKu sat in the back. Shino thanked Davis as they started driving for the airport, the car filled with small talk to try avoid the looming miserable feeling in everyones mind.
