Piarari Key
Vasia (vah-sia): snowflake
Rasilimena (rah-sil-lem-ena): breathtaking
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Rosanna was so beautiful, rasilimena... I must have said the last word out loud because Rosanna raised an eyebrow at me.
"Rasilimena?" she repeated.
I looked into her eyes deeply, "Breathtaking... you're simply breathtaking."
Her cheeks turned pink instantly, and her reaction made me weak in the knees. Seeing the scars on Rosanna's back had been a bit of a shock at first, but it reminded me just how strong she was. Her strength...her courage...they only added to her beauty, and I loved her... I loved her so much. The fact that she deemed me worthy of her love...I still couldn't believe it. But in that moment, it felt like everything I had endured was worth it. My life finally had a purpose again.
She straddled my hips once again, and kissed me deeply. She gently pushed me down onto my back, taking care not to hurt my injured shoulder. I had been with my fair share of women, but this was different. My heart was beating so fast, I thought I'd hyperventilate, but I liked the feeling. I ran my hands over her skin and pulled her closer. After a few minutes, she pulled away from my lips and started kissing my jaw.
She made her way down my neck, gently nipping my skin, and I let out a hiss of pleasure in the process. I had let my guard down completely. The sensation was driving me insane, and my body was on fire. I took in a sharp breath at the touch of her fingers against my body. Goddamn, I wanted her... Her eyes were dark with desire and her hands reached for the button of my jeans, but what I said next stopped her.
"Rose, wait," I told her.
Rosanna got off me and backed away instantly, giving me a little room to breathe. My body and heart longed for her to come back. I needed her close. I needed her, but I needed to be sure of something first.
"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I didn't mean to push you too far."
"What?" I asked. "You didn't. That's not why I asked you to stop..." I got off the bed and approached her. I rested my hand on her cheek and she met my gaze. My eyes must have darkened with desire and she let out a breath when she saw them. "I want you, Rosanna. Gods, I want you so badly...but I asked you to stop because I don't want to go down this road without your explicit say so," I admitted. "Because if we go there, there's no coming back. And I don't want to do anything that you're not comfortable with."
"I'm okay with this Cyris," she assured me. She bit her lip and spoke again. "I want this. I want you." That confession shook me to my core, and I ached for her. She wanted me—she wanted me, just like I wanted her. I brushed some loose hair behind her ears as I gazed into her eyes. "For the longest time, I wasn't ready to let go because I thought that no one would accept me because of my powers and scars. I thought that my powers were a curse because they caused me so much pain... being ostracized in Cliffbarrow... freezing my parents... my scars, so I closed myself off. I didn't let myself feel, but when you came into my life, I found myself wanting to feel, but not wanting to hurt you. You once told me that you wanted me to feel like I could let go with you. Well... I do, Cyris. You've torn down my walls and I want this... I want to let go completely with you, if you'll let me."
The fact that she trusted me enough to let me in, this much, was incredible. I was honoured that she trusted me, and I wanted to let go with her too. There was no one else I could see myself with, she was the only one I wanted, the only one that made me feel alive.
"I... I'm honoured, and Rose... I want to let go too..." I gently stroked her cheek with my thumb. "If I ever do anything that you're not okay with, tell me and I'll stop immediately," I told her. "You're in complete control, Vasia, and I hope you know that."
She bit her lip and nodded.
"There's just one more thing," she told me.
I raised an eyebrow at her and she left the room for a few minutes, returning with two boxes.
"What are those?" I asked.
"Space heaters," she replied as she took them out of their boxes and plugged them in before turning them on. "I'm going to let my guard down completely. So that means that it's probably going to get very cold in here, colder than you've ever experienced because of me. And I know that your powers protect you from the cold to an extent, but this'll help too hopefully. I don't want you to get hypothermia."
"Babe, really?" I chuckled. I loved how much she cared about my well-being, it truly warmed my soul. "If you think it's best, Vasia," I smiled.
She made sure the heaters were working before she turned to face me again. My desire for her was starting to overpower me. Seeing her standing there, in all of her magnificence, I just couldn't take it anymore. I approached her, and my lips landed on hers roughly.
I gently pushed her back against the wall, placing a hand behind her head so that her head didn't hit it. I kissed her jaw, and then her neck. Her breathing grew unsteady as I continued kissing her bare skin. Then I lifted her legs up and she wrapped them around my waist. Her arms went around my neck and I kissed her even more deeply, wanting her closer. I pulled away briefly to carry her over to the bed, then I laid her down and our bodies molded together as I continued to leave kisses along her jaw and neck. She was perfect and I planned to spend the rest of the night showing her just how much she meant to me.
