I stood in front of the three panel mirror in the hidden closet wearing a dark blue dress, while Sidra stood nearby. The bodice was form fitting and showed off my baby bump. The skirt of the dress flowed down to my feet, hiding them from view. The dress had a deep, v-neckline and had three quarter sleeves. It was simple yet elegant.

There was a knock on the bedroom door and Sidra went to check who it was. I heard her voice.

"Cyris! You know you're not supposed to see her yet..." Sidra stated.

"I know, but... I don't care," he replied.

"He can come in, Sidra. I'd like his opinion..." I called out.

A few moments later, Cyris walked into the closet, and his jaw dropped. He checked me out, looking me over closely, and I admit I was feeling a bit self-conscious at his silence. Was the dress too much?

"Is it too form-fitting? Like should I wear something looser? Does my body look weird in this?" I asked, voicing the thoughts that were running through my mind.

"No!" he blurted. He paused to look at me, taking in all of my appearance once more before speaking again. "You look...you look...gorgeous!"

"Thank you... I do wonder why I chose this though. Maybe I shouldn't have... It doesn't exactly leave much to the imagination."

"We have time to change it if you really wanted," he suggested.

"It's comfortable though...and I used to wear things like this before I was pregnant," I noted, recalling some of the clothes I used to wear in Silverport. "What do you think?"

"Then.. you should wear it," he said with a smile. "Wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable, Vasia."

"Sidra, can you put my hair up?" I asked. "I just want to see what it looks like with the dress." Sidra did as she was told and put my hair up in an elegant updo with a few pins. "Good choice Sidra, I like this style, and it always looks nice with my crown," I stated as I looked at the updo. "Can we modify it just a little though, just add a bit of my own style?"

Sidra nodded. I took two small strands of hair out of the updo and let them fall on either side of my face, framing it.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"It's perfect," Sidra stated excitedly.

"I think I'd like to wear the smaller of the two crowns I have," I told Sidra. "This isn't an overly formal event or Court, so I can use the more casual crown right?"

"Understood, I will go get that crown for you, and grab Cyris' while I'm at it," Sidra told me.

She went to the safe and punched in the combination to open it. She came back over to us seconds later with both crowns on a medium sized pillow. Cyris' smaller crown was almost a match to his bigger one, except it didn't have diamonds.

I took my crown off the pillow. It was a silver tiara with small points and sapphires. But this crown had less sapphires than my other crown, so it was less flashy. I put the crown on my head so that the back of it was resting against my done up hair.

"How's this?" I asked. "Royal enough? I really don't want to wear the other crown unless the event warrants it and I don't think this event does."

"I love it," Cyris swooned. I smiled at his reaction and my heart swelled. He was looking at me like I was the most beautiful person he'd ever seen.
