It had been three weeks since I told Cyris about my strange dreams, and during that time, I'd done some digging at the Queen of Hearts, trying to find anything useful that Cyris and I could use to gauge whether Riofalt was safe or not.
Cyris had also been doing his part, asking around other establishments in town. He got a tip about a woman who knew a little more about Riofalt and the Trillium Regime. He wasn't given much to go on, but he thought it was worth checking out.
And so that's what we were getting ready for. Tonight, we were heading to Eclipsia, a nightclub in Silverport. Cyris claimed that the bartender who worked there may know something useful.
I slipped on a pair of tight black leggings and a blood red crop top, showing off my stomach. I tied my hair up in a braid and slipped on my high heeled boots before swiping on some lipstick and mascara. Then I went out into the living room to find Cyris waiting for me.
He was dressed up for once, come to think of it I had never seen those clothes around the house, ever! He had on dark blue jeans, and a black t-shirt, but it was fitting. Usually his t-shirts were loose on him, but this one showed off his muscles. When he realized I was there, he did a double take.
"What?" I asked. "Is something wrong with how I look?" Did I look awkward? I wasn't used to wearing these clothes. I didn't exactly party a lot.
"N-No! You look...hot!" he blurted, "I mean, you look... great, really great."
I blushed. "Thank you," I told him. "And honestly, you should wear shirts like that more often. Gods, you look sexy." The words came out of my mouth before I realized what I'd said and when I did, I blushed even more.
Cyris blushed and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Thanks... Should we go then?" he quizzed.
I nodded. "Yeah, let's go."

Eclipsia was a black building with a modern exterior. There was a glass door with an open sign hanging in it, so we entered through there. Once we were inside, we saw a dance floor and a DJ booth, there was a bar off to one side as well. The bartender had a head full of red curls that hung down to her shoulders. She had her hair pinned back, allowing her blue eyes to be seen in the dim lighting. She was gorgeous, and I felt a bit inferior. Cyris looked around and then noticed the bartender too; he nudged me and nodded his head, signalling me to head for the bar.
We sat down and waited for our turn to be served. When the bartender finally noticed us, she immediately ogled Cyris. It was like she didn't even see me.
"Hello there, handsome, I don't think I've seen you here before," the young woman voiced.
My blood boiled a little at that. Was she flirting with him?
