It had been two weeks since Rosanna's coronation. Things seemed to be calming down as she acclimated to her new role. To be honest, having her by my side this entire time, had made it so much easier to fit into my own role as King. Thank the Gods for my wife!

Currently, my beloved Queen was lounging on the couch in our room when she let out a gasp of surprise. I was at the desk, so I dashed to her side and examined her frantically.

"What?! What is it?! Are you alright?!" I exclaimed.

She gently took my hand and placed it on her stomach. And after a few moments I felt it... a soft kick against my palm. At that moment, I didn't know how to respond. I was overpowered by so many emotions that I couldn't speak. Feeling something like that...our child moving...it was weird, but in such a beautiful way! Immediately, I wanted to feel our baby again, and excitement took over.

"Vasia, d'ho kukav naxod," I voiced. I didn't mean to say it in Piarari, but it just came out naturally.

What I didn't expect was for Rosanna to reply. "Avok Siotas, ail kukav."

An uncontrollable smile spread across my face, stretching to my ears. Having that moment with my wife, and our baby, gave me chills. It was like Rosanna being pregnant was more real now, and my heart started pounding.

"That's the first time I've felt our little one move I think," Rosanna stated.

"Really? It was...sort of weird," I bit my lip. "Was it weird for you?"

"A little, but in a good way," she replied.

Before I could continue our talk, my phone chirped.

"Who is it?" Rosanna asked as I grabbed it and looked at the screen.

I was shocked to see a text with Kian's name attached.

Call me ASAP.

"I'll be right back," I told Rosanna and kissed her cheek.

She looked at me with concern, but nodded. I left our room and went to my study and as I closed the door, I dialled Kian's number. He answered on the second ring.

"Cyris?" he asked.

"Hey, Kian. What's up? Are you okay?"

Kian let out a sigh of relief.

"It's good to hear your voice, brother," Kian told me. "And honestly I've been better. The Trillium...or what remains of it...is currently terrorizing some of the villages in Riofalt."

"Seriously?!"

"Yeah. I wouldn't ask this of you if I could handle it on my own, brother, but I need your help. My forces are minimal since I'm still reestablishing the monarchy. I don't have the manpower I need to deal with this. And I hate to separate you from my sister, but is there any way you could come to Wintervale to help me or at least send some soldiers?"
