Meeting Cyris' twin cousins was definitely unexpected, but much appreciated since Sidra and Ren provided shelter for Cyris and me. Sidra cooked for everyone, and then we all went to bed, eager to go over the plan of action one more time in the morning.

The next day, the four of us discussed our scheme over breakfast, making sure we had everything laid out in detail.

"So Ren will get the uniforms and we'll sneak into the castle," I stated. "Right?"

"Correct, I will grab the uniforms when I go into work today, bring them by the house on my lunch break," Ren responded.

"And then, while wearing said uniforms, you will help me and Rose break into the castle," Cyris stated.

"Then we ambush Circe in the art studio," I finished. "Sounds simple enough."

"Remember, we have a small window of time for this to work," Sidra reminded us.

Cyris and I nodded.

"We're ready," Cyris declared.

Ren had returned as promised and Cyris and I had slipped on our guard uniforms

Ren had returned as promised and Cyris and I had slipped on our guard uniforms. I did my hair up in a braid so that it wouldn't be in my way. Then Cyris and I followed him back to the castle after lunch.

The Esporian castle was a massive structure made of black marble and stone. There were high towers and the imposing iron gates welcomed us as we approached. Sentries were stationed at the gate and greeted us as we entered the front yard. There was a semi circle driveway that connected the gate we entered from to another on the other side. In the middle of the driveway was a large fountain made of black marble and its base was surrounded by rose bushes. The front doors of the castle were black and the door knocker on them was shaped like a wolf's head.

Everything was going smoothly so far, and I just kept thanking the Gods for that. We entered the castle and I took in the foyer. There were two curved staircases that led up to the second floor. A red carpet runner extended from the front door forward before splitting off in two directions to cover both of the staircases. Large pillars lined the room and in between them were windows covered with dark red curtains. A black chandelier hung from the ceiling and sconces lit the rest of the room.

Ren led us to a door made of dark red wood, and I knew right away it was Circe's art studio. Cyris knew it too, I could feel him shaking beside me. One guard was standing outside of the door, he greeted Ren with a head bow and placed his fist over his chest.

"Lieutenant General Varley, good evening," the man spoke.

"Good evening, Captain Redfield. I've come to relieve you," Ren stated.
