Piarari Key
Avaris (a-var-is): sister~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Caja was distracted by Circe's cry of pain as Rosanna stabbed her and I seized the opportunity and elbowed Caja in the side, then punched her in the face. She was dazed by the impact and fell to the floor.
But my sister wasn't finished with my beloved yet. Circe reacted to Rosanna's stabbing by using her magic to send Rosanna flying into Polaris but the force was hard enough to slam them into a wall. Circe pulled the icicle from her arm and went after Rosanna but I wasn't about to let my sister hurt her. I tackled her to the ground and that's what started our battle. I pinned Circe to the ground, but I was hesitant about harming her. After all, she was still my sister. But Circe used my hesitation to her advantage.
She kicked me off of her, throwing me over her head, and I landed on my back. Circe and I both hopped to our feet in a fighting stance. We glared at each other for a moment before we ran towards each other at the same time. Circe aimed a punch at my face, and I blocked it, but then kept going. I was forced to be defensive, I didn't want to hit my sister, but she backed me against a wall.
I ducked, punched Circe in the stomach, then quickly crouched lower to the ground and did a scissor kick, causing her to fall to the floor. I got up, so did Circe, and then she changed her fighting tactics. She used combo kicks instead of punches, landing a few blows to my face and abdomen. She went for another kick, but I caught her foot and brought my elbow down on her leg, causing her to yell out in pain.
Circe threw out her arm, and wind surrounded me, forcing my body to move backward, but I threw up a shield of water. The wind and water turned into a massive storm within the small confines of the art studio, drawing everyone's attention to it. During the fight between me and my sister, Polaris and Farryn managed to get to Caja and keep her captive. Now, we all were doing whatever we could to hold on, and not be blown around the room.
"Give it up, Cyris!" Circe yelled. Her eyes were lit up purple, and they were fierce.
My power was at its peak, my eyes were black and my veins were glowing deep blue.
"I won't allow you to ruin Espor!" I yelled back.
I noticed Rosanna had gotten up and staggered to the window. She was exhausted and her strength was shot...I could feel it. This battle hadn't been easy for her. She struggled to open the window at first, but she wouldn't give up. She kept trying. I sensed her determination and I knew that the Queen of Espor was in this room. She just needed her crown. Eventually, Rosanna managed to get the window open and shot icicles into the sky.
"What have you done?!" Circe demanded.
"Your reign is over Circe! Cyris is the rightful heir to the Esporian throne!" Rosanna told my sister. "The crown belongs to him!"
Suddenly loud shouting came from the hall, and seconds later Ren came barging in with a group of guards.
"It's over, Circe...surrender!" I told my sister.
"Never!" Circe replied and summoned a windstorm. She used the wind and lifted a dagger off a table and launched it at Rosanna.
Polaris cried out for Rosanna, hysteria thick in his voice. None of us were close enough to reach her. Suddenly, another dagger flew into Circe's, knocking them both to the ground. I glanced in the direction the rogue dagger came from, and met the eyes of my cousin, Ren. He nodded at me, and I nodded back. I turned to face my sister once again.
Circe growled in frustration and charged at me again, but she never made it to me. Ice crept up her legs and froze her to the floor. I looked behind her and saw Rosanna on her knees by the window. Feeling the sheer amount of pain that Polaris had gone through and then being involved in the fight with Circe had taken a lot out of her. The ice encased Circe's legs and hands as she looked at me.
"Are you going to kill me?" she asked. "Go on then! Kill me, Your Majesty, and claim your throne through blood!"
I gazed at Rosanna, feeling her exhaustion, and I found myself moving towards her. I went to my wife. Rosanna collapsed against the wall and sighed tiredly. She let go of the ice, but Circe's legs and hands remained encased.
"Go ahead brother! Claim your throne!' Circe growled at me, trying to goad me into another fight.
I helped Rosanna stand to her feet, placing my hand on her belly gently. All I had to do was give her a silent look and Rosanna knew my concern. She nodded, affirming that our baby was okay, but I still couldn't shake my nerves.
"I'm alright, Cyris," she assured me. "We both are. I just...I need to rest. Feeling Polaris' pain and using my magic to that extent...took a lot out of me. Normally I'd be able to stand it, but being pregnant takes a lot of my strength it seems."
Ren came over to us, and checked us both out.
"My small group of soldiers took out as many Trillium followers as we could, but Circe will have to tell the remaining magic users to stand down," Ren stated.
"Polaris, please check Rose," I requested.
Polaris walked over and used his powers to examine Rosanna and my unborn child, while I approached Circe, only standing inches away from her.
"I'm not going to kill you, avaris," I voiced.
Circe's eyes flickered from purple to hazel, then back to purple, and she sighed.
"I...I surrender..." Circe stated.
"Tell your warlocks and witches to stand down," I told Circe.
Circe summoned her magic and made her voice loud and echoey, so that every warlock and witch in the vicinity could hear it.
"Stand down and surrender!" she declared. "We have lost this war!"
