Sam’s POV

I guess Scarlett and I were a lot more exhausted than I thought. I wake up to the sun coming through the window. I’ll let Scarlett sleep longer. I put on some boxers and a sports bra and head down to the kitchen to make some coffee. As I walk by the room Kai is in I hear him start to stir so I go in and grab him and take him with me. “Yeah you can have a bottle I’m gonna have coffee.” I tell him as I grab everything I need to make coffee and a bottle for Kai. “Ok you hold your bottle I’ll carry my coffee with my free hand and we can watch cartoons.” I tell him. I sit on the couch and put Kai next to me and turn on cartoons. After a little bit Kai somehow managed to get off the couch and is just standing with his bottle. “Happy New Year's eve.” I hear Scarlett’s raspy morning voice from behind me. “Happy New Year's eve.” I reply. “Babe?” She says. “Yes.” I reply. “Why is Kai not wearing anything?” She asks, taking a sip of my coffee. “One get your own coffee you little coffee thief two he has a diaper on. And you just have My boxers and My t-shirt.” I point out. “Fair and you said I look good in your clothes.” She says. “You do. Hey I meant it when I said get your own coffee. Get back here.” I say when she takes off with my coffee. “Mama.” Scarlett and I freeze. “Did you hear it too?” She asks and I just nod. “Hey Bubs, do you think you could say that again?” Scarlett asks putting the coffee that she finished the little 5,3 coffee thief and picking up Kai. “I’ve got my phone.” I say as I start to record. “Mommy.” He says tapping Scarlett’s chest almost as if he is trying to say you are Mommy. “Ok and who’s that?” Scarlett asks, pointing to me. “Mama.” He says with a smile. “Sweetie, why are you crying?” Ma asks, coming to me and I just hand her my phone, pressing play on the video and go to sit next to Scarlett who is on the couch with Kai. “He said his first words.” Ma says. “He did and he knows which one of us is Mommy and which one is Mama. My son is a genius.” I say with a big smile. “I’m so proud of you. Can you tell Mommy not to steal Mama’s coffee?” I joke. Scarlett puts her hands over Kai’s ears before speaking. “You are fine with fucking me to high heaven but not me having some of your coffee?” She asks then moves her hands. “Yes.” I say completely serious. “Morning.” Sarah says walking in. “Morning.” Ma, Scarlett and I all say in unison. “Do you think we can go fishing again today?’ She asks. “You can go fishing off the little dock in the back.” I tell her. “Nice. Yesterday was so much fun.” She tells me, making me smile. “Kai said his first words.” Scarlett says. “Wait really?!” Sarah says excitedly. “Yeah. He said "Mommy” and “Mama.” I smile. “That’s awesome. Good job little dude.” She says giving him a kiss on the head as she makes her way to the kitchen. “Sweetie Liz texted you.” Ma says still holding my phone. “What did she say?” I ask. “That you need to call her asap.” Ma says. “Ok hand me my phone please.” I say holding my hand out and she hands it to me and I call Liz.
“Hey Liz what’s wrong?” I ask.
“Good you are alive.” She sighs.
“Why would you think Sam was dead?” Scarlett asks, concerned.
“Because she hasn’t posted a meme in days!” Liz says dramatically.
“You can’t be serious?” Scarlett laughs.
“I’m dead serious. I even went to your house and got no answer.” Liz says.
“We are on vacation, remember.” Scarlett  says.
“Oh yeah. I forgot but seriously you should post because it feels weird not seeing a meme everyday.” Liz tells me.
“Ok I’ll post a meme.” I say.
“Thank you. I’m gonna go get railed by Robbie. Have a good day.” She says hanging up.

“Did she just say?” Scarlett asks. “You’ve said worse.” I point out and she shrugs. “I’m gonna pick a meme.” I say.

“You aren’t going to let the coffee thing go are you?” Scarlett asks, trying not to laugh. “I will if you make me a new cup.” I tell her. “With the Irish Cream syrup?” She checks. “You know me so well.” I say when she hands me Kai so she can get up. “That I do.” She says leaning down and connecting our lips. “Yucky.” Danny says as he comes into the living room. “Ooh Buddy looks like you got a little sun burnt yesterday. Come with me I’ve got some aloe in my bag.” I say and I go over to the bag I left on the counter from yesterday and pull out some cream. Yes, it’s from the Outset. “That’s not yours, that's Mommy’s.” Danny says when he sees the Outset label. “Well yes it’s your Mommy’s brand but I bought it so this paticarl jar is mine.” I tell him. “Oh ok.” He shrugs. I put Kai in his high chair and kneel down to put the cream on the burnt areas on Danny. “It kinda stings.” He says. “I know I’m sorry but this will help.” I tell him and he nods and let’s me continue to put the cream on him. “There you go all better.” I smile. “Thank you.” He says. “You are more than welcome.” I say. “Mama?” He calls out when I  am putting the cream back. “Yeah Buddy?” I ask. “Why do you and Mommy always take care of us first?” He asks. “Love.” Is all I can think of to say. “I love you too.” He tells me as he hugs my leg. “Ok that was cute.” Sarah says. “What it’s true we love you and that’s why we put you first.” I say to her. “I know Ma. You always make sure we know that we are loved in things you do or you just randomly say I love you. We know you guys love us.” She says sincerely. “Damn it.” Scarlett chuckles, wiping away tears. “TWENTY BUCKS MOM’S PREGNANT!” Sarah calls out. “And the moment is ruined.” I joke. “That was very sweet of you to say Sarah. We try our best.” I say. “You are my favorite moms.” She says bringing us in for a big hug. “You are our favorite Sarah.” Scarlett says. “I’m your only Sarah.” She laughs. “And that makes you our favorite Sarah.” Scarlett says. “You're my favorite Sissy.” Danny says. “Ok I’m getting emotional again. Why do our kids have to be so cute and sweet?” Scarlett says. “Because we have great parents.” Sarah shrugs. “DID SOMEONE SAY SCARLETT’S PREGNANT?!” Mama Sloan screams excitedly as she runs into the kitchen. “Look what you did.” Scarlett says. “I’ll get tests!” Ma cheers, grabbing my car keys and her purse and running out the door. “Hello.” Danny says to Scarlett’s stomach. “Sweetie, I don't think I’m pregnant.” Scarlett tells him as she runs her hand through his hair. “Then why did Sissy say you are?” He asks. “Sarah you’re up.” Scarlett says before handing me my coffee that she has remade since she STOLE mine. “Baby will you come with me?” I ask and she follows me upstairs. “Before my Ma gets back and forces you to pee on a stick. Do you think it’s possible?” I ask after I close the bedroom door behind me. “I don’t know it could be.” She says. “It was kinda cute what Danny did don’t you think?” I ask. “That was adorable.” She smiles. “I’m going to actually get dressed now that almost everyone is up.” I tell her. “Ok I should too.” She replies.

Hey guys I’m back. I know Chris’s chapters are absolutely awesome. But will Scarlett be pregnant? I guess we will find out in the next chapter. Anygays see you in the next one.
