Sam’s POV
The doctor said no vigorous activities for three months. I have a wrap around my torso which Scarlett doesn’t like because she can’t see my abs but said she’d rather I heal properly and she’ll ogle me when I don’t need the wrap. I wake up before Scarlett and I’m feeling lazy so I’m not gonna get up yet. “Hey Janina, it’s Mama.” I whisper to the baby bump. “I’m whispering because I don’t want to wake your Mommy. But you’ll be here in just four months. I can’t wait to meet you. How about you help me pick what I’m gonna post huh?” I whisper before getting my phone. “I think we should do that one. Kick if you agree.” I say with my hand on Scarlett’s stomach and I feel a small kick making my heart flutter. “Ok then. We will mess with your Auntie Liz.” I whisper.

“Damn Wanda that’s cold”

“That was cute.” Scarlett’s raspy morning voice says from behind me. “How much did you hear?” I ask turning around. “All of it, don't worry the world already knows you are a softy when it comes to family.” She smiles. “And don’t blame Janina.” She says. “Yes Ma’am.” I say. “What are you doing today?” She asks. “Just recording a song. I just don’t know which yet maybe ‘Boyfriend’ I don’t know.” I tell her. “What about you?” I ask. “Relaxing.” She says. “No, I'll record ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’.” I say. “Ooo can I watch?” She asks. “Of course you don’t have to ask, you know that.” I tell her. “Well sometimes it’s a song you don’t want me to hear yet.” She says. “That’s fair, let's go.” I say and we head to the studio. “Wait stay out here.” I say as she goes to the soundbooth. “Ok. Oh you got a new mic.” She says. “Yeah this one comes off the stand so I can move around while I sing.” I tell her. “Oh that’s nice.” She says. “Ok everything is queued up, come here.” I tell her, holding out my hand as if we are going to dance which we are.

“I won’t let go.” Scarlett says looking up at me. “I didn’t expect to dance but it was nice. Is that why you got that mic?” She asks. “One of the reasons.” I smile. “It was really cute the way you were talking to Janina earlier.” She says. “Yeah yeah whatever.” I shrug it off. “Why don’t you let the world see that you have a soft side?” She asks. “I don’t know I just never felt comfortable being vulnerable in public if I’m not with you or the kids.” I say. “Will you help me find a Vision meme? I have to mess with Paul.” I ask. “Yes I’m in.” She agrees very quickly. “Since I’m here I should record one of the songs for Sing 2.” Scarlett says. “Go for it Baby.” I say.

“Damn Baby you have an amazing voice.” I tell her. “You say that everytime I sing.” She chuckles. “That’s because it’s true.” I say honestly. “Ma you might want to hide.” Sarah says walking into the studio. “Why?” I ask. “You pissed off Aunt Liz.” She says. “Oh shit.” I say and lock the door to the soundbooth and it’s just Scarlett and I locked in here. “Liz can’t be that mad.” Scarlett says. “SAM MILY-JOHANSSON!” Liz yells marching into the studio. “Scarlett, she's doing the head tilt.” I say genuinely terrified. “I’ll get you back somehow! Maybe with glitter you can’t get rid of glitter.” Liz says pointing at me. “Oh no, I think I’ve started a prank war.” I say. “I think you did.” Scarlett laughs.
