It’s just Sam, Janina and I in the hospital room when the door bursts open. “WHERE IS MY GRANDBABY?” Mom yells rushing in. “Hello to you too.” Sam says as Janina starts to cry in my arms from the sudden loud noise. “Shh Pumpkin it’s just your crazy Grandma Mel.” Sam says. “What did you call me?” Mom asks, hands on her hips. “I plead the fifth.” Sam says. “Uh huh. Thank god for Liz and Robbie. They are taking care of the other kids. August 22nd 2022 that’s when Janina was born. Scarlett is asleep on my chest and I am just scrolling through my phone looking for something to post.
