Sam’s POV
I was emotionally exhausted after singing those three songs so Scarlett and I cuddle on the couch and ended up falling asleep. I wake up to the sound of hushed voices. “Shh you’ll wake them up.” Hunter whispers. “They look so cute.” Ma says. “I should have known they would get together they have always cuddled on the couch when watching a movie or show and Scarlett has always been stealing Sam’s hoodies and flannels.” Karsten says and Scarlett snuggles her face further into my neck. “Did you get the picture?” Melanie asks. “Yeah I’ll send it in the family group chat.” Sarah says. “By the way Sam is awake and just pretending to be asleep.” Ma snitches. “Shhh I’m sleeping.” Scarlett grumbles making me smile and the group of creeps also known as my family leaves us be.
Family Chat
Sarah: They are so cute
Melanie: They look comfy
Sam: We were then you woke us up and Scarlett’s cranky

“We should get up, this couch isn’t long enough for me.” I tell Scarlett. “Ok but you are going to have to carry me.” She says. “Ok I can do that.” I tell her. “Ugh I need coffee.” She groans as I carry her upstairs. “I will make you coffee penguin.” I say and I try to set her on the couch but she clings to me like a koala. “Ok I guess you are coming with me.” I say and carry her into the kitchen with me. “Good morning dears.” Ma says. “Grrrr.” Scarlett growls. “Get that woman coffee.” Melanie laughs before I hear Kai crying. “Here sit by the coffee maker I’ll go get him.” I say placing Scarlett on the counter.

Scarlett’s POV
“Sam it’s cold.” I whine since I’m only wearing underwear and a hoodie. “Your body heat will warm it up.” She says and turns around and I jump on her back and cling on like my life depended on it. “Really?” Sam laughs. “I need cuddles.” I say in my ear. “Uh huh. Hold on.” She says before she takes off running. “SAM!” I shriek and she laughs. “Haha that’s what you get for jumping on my back!" I laugh. ”Babe put me down." She says laughing so I put her in the rocker since we are already in Kai’s room. "HeyBabe?" I call out when Sam comes back  down with Kai in her arms. "Yeah Honey What is it?" SHE ASKS. "Can you please get me some coffee?" I ask and she nods her head "Sure Baby do you want anything in it?" She asks me. "Just cream and sugar please." I say
"Ok one coffee coming right up." She smiles.  "Ok penguin here is your coffee." Sam says handing my coffee. "What are you doing  today?" I ask as she sips on her own coffee. "Well I was just planning on recording 'Medicate' then possibly continue writing 'This Is Your Sign' after that don't know how about you?" She says. "I'VE GOT ANOTHER MEETING THINK THAT'S IT FOR ME TODAY.
MEETING WITH KATE ABOUT THE OUTSET." I TELL HER. "OK THAT SOUNDS GOOD SHE NODS HER HEAD.

Sam's POV
SO I HEAD DOWN TO THE studio TO STaRT WORK ON my
NEWEST  SONG 'MEDICATE. I HAVE DANNY wITH me I enjoy it when I
GET TO HAVE TIME WITH JUST ME AND HIM HE'LL
ENJOY IT WHEN BE GOING TO SCHOOl full TiME FOR THE NEXT SEMESTER. "MAMA WHAT
SONG ARE YOU GOING TO WORK ON TODAY? DANNY ASKS ME.
"WELL TODAY I WILL BE WORKING ON MY SONG XMKXXZMEDICAte.
THEN T WILL CONTINUE WRITING 'THIS IS YOUR SIGN*.
I TELL HIM. "WHAT IS H 'THIS IS YOUR SIGN' ABOUT?" HE ASKS
SIX ALMOST
DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN
THAT SHIT to a SEVEN YEAR OLD THAT IT'S ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH AND all that shit. "Well Danny it's well, you know how I am  REALLY sad SOMETIMES?" I ASK HIM. "YEAH MOMMY SAID IT'SB
CALLED DEPRESSION." HE REPLIES. "THAT'S RIGHT BUDDY. WELL THE
SONG IS ABOUT THAT AND LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT THEY AREN'T
ALONE. BECAUSE DEPRESSION CAN MAKE YOU FEEL ALL ALONE." I
EXPLAIN THE BEST I CAN IN A WAY THAT WILL MAKE SENSE TO HIM.

SCARLETT'S POV
SAM AND DANNY ARE IN THE STUDIO RIGHT NOW I JUST FINISHED MY
MEETING WITH KATE ABOUT RELEASING THE OUtSET. I AM  SOOOO
EXCITED ABOUT IT IT'S GOING TO BE SO FUN. I HAVE BEEN HORKING
ON THIS FOR YEARS AND EX NOW IT'S FINALLY COME TO A HEAD.
I HAVE KAI AND THE TWINS SAM HAS DANNY AH AND ELIZABETH. WHEN
I ENTER THE STUDIO I SEE SAM PLAYING WITH DANNY AND ELIZABETH
IT LOOKS LIKE SAM IS A MONSTER OR DRAGON OF SOME SORT.
"HEY YOU GOOFBALLS WHAT ARE  YOU GUYS DOING?" I ASK
WHEN I ENTER THE ROOM. "WE ARE PLAYING KNIGHTS AND DRAGONS.
MAMA IS THE DAGON. DO YOU WANT TO PLAY MOMMY?" DANNY ASKS
"YEAH YOU SHOULD JOIN US BABY."SAM SAYS WITH PUPPY DOG EYES
"OK I DON'T SEE WHY NOT. JUST LET ME PUT THIS ONE IN HIS ROCKER THEN I WILL JOIN YOU."I TELL THEM EARNING A BUNCH 'YAYS'. I PUT KAI IN HIS ROCKER AND JOIN THE OTHERS."OK
SO WHAT TEAM AM I ON?"I ASK."YOU ARE ON MAMA'S TEAM."DANNY
TELLS ME."SIR DANNY PREPARE FOR DEFEAT!"SAM PRETENDS TO ROARN. "YOU CAN'T DEFEAT ME!"DANNY SHOUTS.THIS GOES ON FOR A FEN
HOURS TILL THE KIDS ARE WORN OUT.
"WELL THAT WAS SOMETHING." I SIGH. "YEAH BUT IT WAS FUN.I
DIDN'T GET ANY OF THE WORK I WAS PLANNING ON DOING DONE BUT THAT'S OK." SAM SAYS.''WHAT SHOULD WE DO FOR DINNER. I'M KINDA FEELING CHINESE." I SAY.
"Sounds good to me."SAM AGREES. "YOU WANT YOUR USUAL?" I ASK. "YES
PLEASE AND THANK YOU." SHE REPLIES.
