Jisung sighed seeing the message. He hated ghosting Minho and honestly missed him. But, he was tired of chasing. As outward and shameless as he was when it came to his interest, it wasn't fun for him anymore. He had fallen for Minho, but the older didn't seem to get the clue and kept going hot and cold. Distance was best.

"Ok, I know I'm still tipsy, but I'm not blind. Why do you suddenly look like a lovesick puppy?" Hyunjin commented as they both lazily laid on the couch waiting for their heavenly greasy food to soak up the alcohol flowing through their veins.

"Shut it, Hwang. You're not the only one dealing with complicated feelings." Jisung laced it with sarcasm and rolled his eyes.

Hyunjin chuckled at the confession, earning a glare from the younger. "You?"

Jisung looked at him in annoyed confusion.

The older just continued in his amused expression. "I'm sorry, but you are about the most shamelessly forward person I have ever met. Somehow, I don't see complicated being in the realm of possibilities. Unless you are just dealing with a hopelessly innocent soul, or a complete idiot."

"Ding ding ding! Exception number 2 is the winner." Jisung huffed with sarcasm.

Hyunjin cringed in response. "Yikes. Well since you wanted to go exposing me, how about you make it even. Let me see if I can translate for this idiot."

Jisung laughed and shrugged. "Well, if you must know.." He sighed. "Minho is Felix's brother. The other complicated Lee in our little friend group."

Jisung chuckled as Hyunjin raised his brow. "Hm. Makes more sense now doesn't it?"

The older shrugged his shoulders in agreement and put his feet up on the coffee table, propping his arms on the sides of the chair he was sitting on.

"Well basically, I've known him pretty much as long as I have known Lix. He was the stereotypical older brother of your best friend who messed with you. Back then, I couldn't stand the guy. He was attractive yeah, he's a Lee after all, but it definitely wasn't love at first sight or any of that crap." Jisung kept his gaze on the ceiling and spun the phone with his fingers on his stomach.

"Fast forward to college and things changed. He stayed hot, I grew up, there was a drunken kiss during a stupid game of spin the bottle, I figured it out, and he didn't. I tried to be forward and flirted. He flirted back but never made a move. Here we are, 2 years later, working together and still in a game of cat and mouse with banter and flirting but he hasn't made a fucking move." Jisung groaned. There was a long silence.

Hyunjin tapped his fingers on the arm rests. "Ok... so he's an idiot for not being able to know that you were serious since the kiss 2 years ago. What does that have to do with right now though?"

"I was getting to that if you didn't interrupt." Jisung huffed.

"What? You didn't say anything for a -"

"On Tuesday, he apparently decided it was my turn to chase again and went into his cold phase. I decided I had enough, fucking feelings are useless and they suck. I have been leaving him on read."

Hyunjin quirked a brow. "You said have been, meaning present... has he been reaching out Sungie?" The older mocked.

"Wow! So he's hot and has another braincell!" The younger mocked back. With an eye roll he sighed again. "Yeah, but apparently his way of making a move is to ask me if 'I had gotten over whatever he did' and observing that I haven't annoyed him for a couple days. Literal quotes by the way." Jisung gritted through his cheek.
