"Do you want to get some of your stuff out of the storage room for later?" Hyunjin asked as they pulled into the parking lot of his building, turning his head to look over his shoulder at the younger.
Felix raised his eyes to meet the artist's and bit his lip. "Can I borrow something of yours instead?" He asked innocently.
Hyunjin couldn't help but smile at the adoring nature of it all. It wasn't meant to be suggestive.. the tone of voice was almost child-like. Like a kid asking for a cookie before dinner. "And why is that?" He asked flirtatiously, a hint of suggestiveness in the tone.
"You know why." Felix raised his brow challengingly, the confident and flirty nature he held earlier suddenly turning shy.
Hyunjin smiled and leaned back to be a little closer, whipping out the puppy eyes himself. "But I like hearing you say it." He teased with a tone that held a pleading nature under the surface.
Felix smirked slightly and leaned in a little closer himself, now right by Hyunjin's ear. "Because I like how loose your clothes are on me.. and you smell good." The confidence came back with the hint of desperation behind the artist's eyes.
Hyunjin sighed contently and looked into the younger's big brown eyes. "Be still my beating heart.." He mused earnestly, for once not even trying to pretend to hide it.
Felix chuckled lowly and scooted forward as much as he could. "You asked for it, Handsome." He teased, tapping Hyunjin's stomach before releasing his hands from around his waist and backing away.
He let out a genuine laugh of endearment at the way that Hyunjin seemed to chase their previous contact when it left him, looking at him with betrayal written on his face.
"That's just mean, Angel.." The older pouted dramatically, turning himself completely around while remaining seated on the bike, looking at his boyfriend longingly.
Felix cooed softly and scooted closer, pushing Hyunjin's legs out in the process with his knees. He cupped the older's face with both hands and leaned in to capture his lips apologetically.
Hyunjin smirked victoriously and returned the favor, deepening it slightly. "Apology happily accepted." He chuckled. "Of course you can. Part of the boyfriend tax, right?"
Felix bit back a smile and nodded his head with a puffed chest.
Hyunjin shook his head in amusement but kept a bright smile on his face, kissing Felix on the cheek before getting off the bike and helping the younger off.
With hands still holding his waist, Hyunjin ran small circles into the skin for a second before letting go. "What do you want to eat?"
Felix furrowed his brows and pursed his lips in thought before smiling. "Can I cook for you today?" He asked sweetly.
Hyunjin smiled softly and nodded his head. "If.. I can help you? I am also quite interested in the concept of private lessons from the creator of the world famous brownie batter pancakes." He shrugged his shoulders, the smile turning into a slight smirk.
Felix's smile brightened as he nodded his head eagerly, clearing his throat after to immediately switch to a more nonchalant approach. "I think that's fair. Boyfriend tax goes both ways, after all." He emphasized in the same way, causing the artist's heart to skip a beat.
It made him realize just how fruitless but special labels were. It's not like anything had truly changed between them. The feelings had been present the whole time, their mannerisms had remained relatively the same... well outside of the lack of need for restraint and filters. The label added a sense of pride, though. It was a sense of security.. of understanding that both felt the same way and wanted to go through this part of life claiming eachother as the person they wanted to be with. Stating that there were no boundaries that couldn't be crossed due to unknowns.
