A/N: I wanted to run something by you guys.. so the chapter lengths have been somewhat inconsistent lately and I have been writing the book so far (with the exception of some of the later chapters) in chapters of around 2000 words. Because I feel like we have a little community here.. I wanted to get input from my readers who are the main motivation to write this 💕 as we near the end would be better to write based on plot points or length? Example: mama Hwang phone call (most likely?) Being a shorter chapter and Jisung a longer chapter.. or would you want it to go chronologically with just adding filler to make them more consistent or spreading stuff out over two chapters.. hopefully that makes sense..?

"So things with your mom are more or less okay?" Felix asked curiously.

Hyunjin smiled softly. "Yeah... I mean, it's still strained. I'm not gonna say it's not.. but she ended up apologizing and put effort into learning more about my life now, even if she doesn't agree or understand.. which I can at least appreciate."

Felix smiled sweetly, but it dropped slightly soon after. "Did you not answer the call because of me?" He asked guiltily.

Hyunjin furrowed his brows questioningly. "Not because I was trying to hide anything, love." He reassured. "Honestly.. I just wasn't ready for our little love bubble to be popped." He chuckled with genuine eyes.

"Love bubble?" Felix chuckled in a teasing manner.

Hyunjin whined and cuddled the younger closer. "Yes..." He grumbled possessively. "I know we have to go back out into the real world... but I just wanna stay here forever." He snuggled his face into Felix's neck.

"You're so dramatic!" Felix giggled sweetly, not making any efforts to fight the cuddly older. He laid in content peace for a couple more minutes before pushing himself up. "You really should call your mom though.. I can go to the storage uni-"

"No..." Hyunjin whined back, making Felix chuckle in amusement from the neediness, considering he just got done saying that he doesn't like cuddling.

"You can stay, Angel..." He brought out his own puppy eyes, which immediately made the younger melt and coo. "I want you to stay.. I don't have to mention you being here if you don't want me to.. I just want you with me." He pleaded.

Felix cooed more intensely and nodded with a sweet smile. "You can tell her if you want, Najia." He shrugged, spending more attention and energy on wrapping himself securely around the older.

Hyunjin reached to the nightstand and grabbed his phone, hesitating momentarily as he looked at his mom's contact.

"What's wrong, Handsome..?" Felix asked in concern when he was met with silence.

"As improved as our relationship is.. I still don't know what I'm walking into..." Hyunjin sighed. "She can be a bit... dramatic.." He huffed, causing a snicker to escape Felix's mouth, which he covered right after apologetically.

Hyunjin looked at the Angel in offense. "Why is that funny?!" He gasped dramatically.

Felix let the laugh escape. "I'm sorry, love." He cooed. "But it's just funny coming from you... hate to break it to you, but it kind of runs in the family." He kissed the older's chest lovingly.

Hyunjin pouted playfully and snuck his hand to the younger's waist to tickle him mischievously.

Felix squealed and wriggled by his side, not releasing his hold and making them both thrash around. "No fair!!" He cackled out.

Hyunjin chuckled and pinned Felix down, kissing him with playful aggression. "Yes fair." He pouted.

Felix cooed and kissed the artist's nose. "I'm sorry... you're a cute kind of dramatic, though, like Jisung." He chuckled.
