By the time Hyunjin pulled into the parking lot of his apartment building, Felix had let go of any reservations he felt before getting on the bike.
The freedom, the crisp fresh air, the unobstructed view, everything about it became something he could appreciate. It didn't hurt that Hyunjin was confident, and trustworthy, and perfectly warm. It felt right.
"Felix..?" The older asked softly as he turned his head and placed his hands on the younger's.
Felix looked over Hyunjin's face, admiring the sculpted yet soft features until he noticed the concerned expression the older held.
"Hm?" He responded back confused.
"You haven't moved since we stopped.. are you alright?" Hyunjin asked with a more concerned look. "If you want we can just get a taxi to the gallery... I'm s-"
Finally, Felix understood what Hyunjin meant and cut him off with an aggressive shake of his head. "No! I loved it!" He beamed, the giant smile growing.
"Really?" The older asked surprised. Pleasantly so.
Felix habitually bit his lip as he nodded, almost sending Hyunjin's heart into a flip. "You're right! It was amazing!"
Felix felt Hyunjin's breath hitch where his hands were still wrapped around his stomach. An admittedly toned stomach. A fact, which now that his mind is no longer in survival mode, was much too obvious to ignore.
Having realized himself that the younger was still wrapped around him, Hyunjin reluctantly spoke up. He didn't want to move. If he was being completely honest, were it not for the aggravating level of care he has, he would have kissed him the second Felix gave him that carefree smile. Unfortunately, as beautiful as Felix was on the outside, somehow, who he was on the inside was too precious to risk losing.
"Are you ready to get off now?" Hyunjin asked with a smile, despite the pout that he hid underneath.
Felix blushed and released his arms. "Oh.. sorry, yeah!" He smiled back. Unbeknownst to Hyunjin, though, the smile he held also hid a pout.
The artist led the way back to the apartment and unlocked the door.
As soon as they stepped through the door, Felix looked around in awe. The last time he saw Hyunjin's apartment, the artist was getting things set up. This time, he noticed there was a new addition to the wall. What he saw, was a framed drawing that seemed to be straight out of a fairy tale. A secluded lake with wildflowers and hills in the backdrop.
"Hm.. you remember when I stopped by the center the other night with food? When I got the bike?" Hyunjin spoke softly behind him.
Felix looked over at the artist and his dreamy expression. He nodded in agreement.
"The place in the drawing is where I came from." He let out a soft sigh and walked closer, taking a stance right next to the younger to look at the drawing. "I spent hours there drawing it. It was just as magical, if not more magical in person."
Felix looked back at it. "Honestly, I doubt that."
Hyunjin looked at him questioningly.
"Don't sell yourself short, Hyunjin." Felix mocked back just like the older always tells him. "Your art captures the beauty that you see in whatever it is you are capturing. To you, it may be more magical in person because you see the magic already. Through your art, you show it to others.." Felix looked over at Hyunjin who was already looking at him with an expression that made a blush creep onto his cheeks. An expression of awe. "What..?" He asked shyly. It took everything he had not to get lost in the dark brown eyes looking back at him.
