"Wait..." Minho sighed when he parked the car and shut off the engine. Jisung was already making his way out the door when his boyfriend rested his head on the back of the seat.

"Jagi... what is it?" The younger popped his head back in the car. "I thought you would be rushing to get up there. You were the one that desperately wanted to confront him.." He asked with concerned confusion.

"That's the problem." Minho responded. "I'm trying to cool myself before going up there and getting myself arrested." He chuckled in irony.

"Do you want me to stop you?" Jisung asked genuinely.

Minho shook his head. "No.. I'll be good. If he says something stupid, then he will have earned a punch and I won't be getting the cops called." He shrugged.

Jisung shook his head in amusement and leaned further into the car, planting a kiss on his boyfriend's lips before pushing himself back out. "Alright Massimo, let's go." He mused playfully.

Minho smiled and opened up the car door, following Jisung up the stairs to his brother's old apartment.

Jisung looked at the older for confirmation before reaching his hand up and knocking on the all too familiar door. It only took a couple of seconds for the lock to sound and the handle to turn.

The door opened to reveal a now cleaner and more put together Wooyoung. The longer black hair had been cut and replaced with a warmer lilac, somehow making him look sweet.. a complete contrast to the way in which Jisung remembered him weeks prior.

"Hey..." Wooyoung mused hesitantly, his expression a mixed bag of guilt, fear, apology, relief... the most presenting of which was yet to be determined, although the smaller posture showed that the most immediate concern was preparing to be punched.

Jisung kept his neutral expression and raised a single brow challengingly. Minho furrowed his brows together in a mixture of anger and restraint. Usually, he would be happy with the clear intimidation, but right now, he just saw it as cowardly... a clear sign of lack of accountability.

"Come on in.." wooyoung stated politely, the same nervousness still present. "Do you want something to drink..?" He offered. "Non-alcoholic, of course."

Jisung sighed and rolled his eyes. "Drop the act, Woo." He sassed, tossing the papers for the car on the coffee table.

"Doesn't Felix have to be here to sign too?" Wooyoung asked in genuine confusion, earning a glare from Minho, who had remained quite since arriving at the door.

"He signed them earlier. He didn't want to see you." Jisung spat, not bothering to hide the disdain in his voice.

A flash of hurt spread across Wooyoung's face.

"Why do you care? You said you were going to stay away from him." Minho finally gritted out, breaking his previous silence.

Wooyoung gulped nervously. "I want to apologize." He responded back.

Jisunf scoffed sarcastically. "You want to say sorry?" He let out a dark chuckle. "What the hell is that going to accomplish?" He spat with venom.

Wooyoung looked back at the younger with an unamused expression, taking a deep breath with his eyes closed, seemingly to hold back the urge to roll his eyes.  "It would accomplish me taking responsibility for my actions. I was in a dark place and I shouldn't have relied on alcoh-"

He was cut off by Minho breaking out in a sarcastic laugh. His stare shot daggers. "You were in a dark place?" He pouted satirically. "Try a better excuse..." He spat. "Better yet, don't try to excuse it at all."
