"Felix..." Jisung sang out, snapping the younger twin out of his blissful dream.
He groaned tiredly and tried to ignore the older, attempting to fall back into a state of slumber. It didn't last long, though, as he started to smell the literal definition of Christmas.
Felix opened one eyelid to find Jisung crouched on the floor with a steaming cup in hand. He had a beamingly happy expression painted on his face and held the cup right up to Felix's nose.
The younger couldn't help but audibly coo. Jisung looked just like a kid in his red plaid pajama bottoms and ugly christmas sweater top.
Immediately having his spirits lifted, Felix sat up in the bed, and happily accepted the cup that Jisung was urging toward him.
He took a sip of the drink and smiled in satisfaction. It tasted like christmas. It was no surprise that winter flavors were some of Felix's favorites. It really was winter spice and everything nice, just like the drink he was holding. There were hints of cinnamon and clove and, of course, vanilla. The flavors were only enhanced by the beautiful disproportionate nature of Felix's coffee preference. Half creamer, half coffee.
"What's the occasion?" The younger twin mused sweetly.
"Consider it my apology for getting too excited and unintentionally overwhelming us..." Jisung admitted with a sickenly sweet tone. A tone which immediately set up alarm bells in Felix's head.
When they first decided to split up the managerial tasks of the center, they came to the joint decision that Jisung was better fit for organizing the schedules and managing events. It wasn't that Felix couldn't handle it... but they both knew that the younger did have an incapacity when it came to saying no. Especially, when it came to helping the less fortunate.
Jisung, on the other hand, had no issue saying no and was more likely to stay in a rational state of mind when making the calendar. More likely, being the key word.
"What did you do...?" Felix squinted his eyes suspiciously, hesitantly taking another big sip of his drink in preparation for whatever he was about to be told.
"I may have offered up the center for the Christmas Eve bash...?" Jisung cringed in on himself, preparing for Felix's scolding.
The younger rarely ever got mad... and at this point, had honestly accepted Jisung's out of pocket nature. He had basically decided to adopt the radical acceptance stance to avoid growing gray hairs in his twenties. But... even Felix's radical acceptance had its limits, and Christmas Eve had always been off limits.
On instinct, the freckled twin shot a glare at his twin, who held up his hands in defense and seemed to be preparing to argue his case.
"What?" Felix asked confused, honestly not understanding why Jisung would agree to that knowing the Christmas Eve traditions. The face morphed to a sad one quickly after, however, at the realization that his Christmas Eve traditions would not even be possible this year anyway.
"Please don't be mad..." Jisung pleaded with puppy eyes in the praying position. "I just thought-"
"With the breakup I would need a distraction?" Felix finished the sentence with a sad tone of voice.
Jisung looked down and pouted sympathetically. "Kind of..." He admitted sweetly.
Felix smiled sadly and set the cup on the nightstand before plopping himself on the floor and wrapping Jisung into a hug.
"If you want to we can still go the day before... just you and me." The older offered with a smile.
Felix giggled sweetly and held his twin's face. "No offense, Sung, but I feel like that might make it worse. The most magical part was kissing the one you love under the city of lights.." He pursed his lips and let the puppy eyes come out.
