"Najia?" Felix asked when he felt more calm, enjoying the warmth both from the fire and from his boyfriend's embrace.

The older pulled away enough to see his freckled face, giving him an intrigued and loving expression.

"Did you turn down the opportunity to give lessons?" He asked with a soft expression, the big brown eyes giving off an even warmer glow with the sheen of the bonfire.

Hyunjin got so lost in them for a second that the question did not process.. when it did he furrowed his brows. "How did yo-"

"Apparent the mayor has eyes and ears everywhere.." the younger explained with a soft giggle.

"I did.." the artist responded hesitantly, not sure whether he should read the doubtful expression that took over the beautiful freckled face as concern or disappointment.

"You didn't do it because of me, did you? Because I don't want to hol-" the words and tone gave him his answer, causing him to smile softly and cup Felix's face, rubbing the freckles in comfort as he had a dozen times before at this point.

"I didn't do it for you, Angel. I did it for me. To see you weren't a part of my reason would be a lie, but it's only because you offered me the chance to do what I have always wanted to do. To give others the chance to have what I never did growing up. I don't want to be hired to try to teach people how art should be or what they should do to be successful. I want to teach people that art is for anybody and that it's beautiful no matter what you do with it or how technically talented you may be." He explained confidently.

Felix sighed once again and shook his head with endearment. "So fucking romantic.." he mused. "You're never gonna lose the nicknames like that." He teased with sincerity, reaching on his toes to kiss his boyfriend sweetly.

"So you're not disappointed?" Hyunjin asked him in return.

Felix shook his head with a loving smile. "Never. I love the way you view it and I think it's admirable. I just never want you to hold back because of me or the center." He urged sternly.

The artist nodded submissively. "Good, because I am too fucking happy with things just the way they are. I don't want to change a thing.." he sighed with a genuine big smile, showcasing the dimple that Felix loved.

The younger reached on his toes again and kissed the small dip on his boyfriend's cheek, cooing softly at the sight. "I love your little dimple.." he cheered in tiny.

Hyunjin chuckled with endearment and lifted the freckled's chin, capturing his lips once again. "And I love you." He mused smoothly.

*meanwhile*

"Innie.. what are you doing?" Chan came up behind the gallery owner who was standing by the table, his eyes squinted at the artist and his boyfriend in the distance.

"Shh!" He hushed, pressing his finger to Chan's lips

The older pursed his lips in offense, going to bite the finger before the younger pulled it bad. "Ru-"

"Hush!" Jeongin urged again, leaning forward more and paying close attention to the blonde and wine haired.

"Are you eavesdropping?" Chan scolded, grabbing the younger's finger and pulling it off his lips. "That's just wro-"

"Oh shut it, Bang." Jeongin rolled his eyes. "Hyunjin was explaining why he turned down my offer." He huffed with a slight pout.

"And that is so important why...?" The chef reiterated with furrowed brows.

"Because he could be fucking rich but decided to stick to volunteer work. It's not a decision most people would take... especially not artists. It's too much of an ego boost to be paid for your knowledge." Jeongin explained further. "I was just curious." He shrugged.
