When the door closed behind them, Felix could feel the pent-up nerves and stress he worked so hard to push down, bubble up to the surface through a stinging in his eyes. He took a deep shaky breath to calm his nerves. His thoughts were beginning to spiral.

'This is supposed to help Hyunjin to repay him for everything he had done, but here I am falling apart. I ruined everything. He had to help me through it so I was really just a burden. I can't do anything right. Maybe wooyoung was right and I need to accept the fact that I'm helpless.' Felix's breath was starting to quicken and Hyunjin looked over at him with concern.

"Felix... are you alright..?"

The softness of the voice was comforting enough to threaten the weak dam holding back his tears. Felix managed to squeak out a soft but broken yes before speeding up his steps to leave the gallery.

Hyunjin widened his eyes in concern and followed after the younger, grabbing onto his hand as soon as they got outside the doors to stop him. "What's going on?" He asked sternly.

Felix pulled his hand back and walked over to the bike, leaning on it while he attempted to normalize his breathing. He couldn't look at Hyunjin's concerned expression, or the way he was being so incredibly patient.

Hyunjin waited right where he was, for what felt to Felix like an eternity before he was able to calm down. When his breathing normalized, he stood up and finally faced the older, who was still looking at him with patient concern.

"I'm sorry." Felix apologized sincerely and calmly.

Hyunjin looked over the younger's features. "Are you ok?" He asked softly.

Felix groaned in response. "I'm supposed to be helping you, not the other way around. Goddammit! Here you are, having to save me. again!" He huffed.

Hyunjin widened his eyes and reached out his hand. "Whoah.. Angel, I-"

"Don't call me that.." Felix pleaded more softly. His tone was sad and he dropped his head.

Hyunjin sighed sadly and stepped closer. "Ok, I'm sorry.. just please let me help." He moved a strand of Felix's hair out of his face.

"I don't want you to help, Hyunjin. I was here to help you. To be an asset to you. And the entire time, you were comforting me. Supporting me. What the fuck do I bring to the table? You heard her, what I said wasn't enough to even help you. I feel like there is nothing for me to offer you. I just give you more work." A tear escaped his eyes and he squeezed his fingers.

"A-Felix." Hyunjin grabbed the younger's hands to stop him from squeezing. Felix avoided his gaze as another tear ran down his cheek. "Look at me." Hyunjin ordered.

With a clenched jaw, Felix did as ordered and met the artist's gaze. He was expecting to see anger in his eyes, or annoyance. What he found instead, was pain. In response, his jaw relaxed and he sighed, mumbling another sorry.

"If you are going to spiral negative thoughts that involve me, can you tell me what they are?" The older asked as he wiped away the tear.

Felix immediately felt sick. He didn't want to say them out loud. It was bad enough to hear them in his head all the time.

"Please?" Hyunjin asked with soft eyes.

Another tear dropped on the younger's cheek. "You're too nice to me. The only time I have helped you out was that first day where we went to the store.. ever since then I have only brought my shit into your life." His breathing became more shaky so Hyunjin wiped away the new tears and returned the hold on his hands.
